Chapter 32: It Would Be For The Best If He Couldn't Do It!

Gu Ling couldn't help but worry in her heart. Given Sun Pingfang's petite figure, could she endure it?

Taking a deep breath, unable to tolerate the sounds any longer, she blushed and quietly walked out of her room.

Stealthily descending the stairs, the air downstairs was much better. The moon hung high in the night sky, and with the daytime heat gone, the sea breeze in the night was refreshing. She looked towards the seaside from a distance and suddenly decided to pick a tomato and sit by the sea for a while, returning only after the newlyweds had tired themselves out.

Deciding on the spot, Gu Ling walked to the vegetable garden, picked a tomato, and just as she was about to leave, she suddenly felt someone approaching. She looked up and was startled!

Lu Yanchen, this elusive person, was unexpectedly standing beside the vegetable garden, looking at her!

"What are you doing here?" she blurted out, holding a plump, bright red tomato that was too big for one hand.

Lu Yanchen had actually been standing outside for quite a while. Unable to sleep and not wanting to listen to the noisy chatter of those brats, he knew Gu Ling wouldn't willingly come out alone, so he could only find a place to stand for a while.

However, he didn't expect Gu Ling to come downstairs in the middle of the night to pick tomatoes.

After a moment of contemplation, he roughly figured it out. Tonight was the newlyweds' special night, and there must be quite a bit of commotion.

He chuckled inwardly, understanding Wang Haohan's situation. If it were him, the commotion would be even greater.

Therefore, when he gets married, there will be no one living on the same floor with them.

He would have to find a standalone house as their new home.

At this moment, Lu Yanchen clearly had a plan in mind. Later events proved that even in a standalone small building, he still gained quite a reputation.

The man's voice was clear and deep, "Those people are too noisy, I can't sleep. Just came out for a walk. How about you?"

At this point, Gu Ling was in a dilemma. She wanted to go back, yet she didn't want to hear those sounds again. She thought about going to the seaside but was afraid that Lu Yanchen would follow.

In the end, she bit her lip and said, "I want to take a walk by the seaside. Don't follow me."

Lu Yanchen nodded as if he had heard a funny joke, "Don't worry, I won't follow."

Feeling somewhat reassured, Gu Ling walked towards the seaside alone.

The cool breeze felt refreshing, and walking barefoot on the soft sand while gazing at the stars in the sky created an unforgettable sense of contentment.

Gu Ling found a rock to sit on, took a deep breath, and discreetly glanced at the man. He indeed didn't come in her direction but was heading towards another part of the seaside.

In no time, he also reached the seaside, standing at a distance not too far or too close from her.

Gu Ling couldn't help but secretly smile, speculating whether he would come over.

Sure enough, the silhouette in the moonlight approached her, getting closer until he was by her side.

Suppressing a smile, Gu Ling asked him, "Didn't you say not to follow me?"

Lu Yanchen looked innocent, "I was chasing crabs. Who knew the crab liked you so much? It kept chasing and ended up here."

He held up a crab from the ground, and the crab's claws were moving in a disorganized manner, looking quite realistic.
