HAZEL- MJ I'll be gone until Sunday.
She gets a confused look and pauses and looks at Maya's door.
HAZEL- wait...shouldnt you be leaving too?
MAYA-(O.S) (whining) I'm in pain. The worst ever pain to ever pain.
Hazel busts in the room. Maya is dressed for work but lays across her holding her cheek.

INT. MAYA AND HAZEL'S COLLEGE DORM - FLASH BACK
Hazel is getting dressed and Maya is in sweats sitting on her bed with her laptop on her lap.
HAZEL- Damn you still doing that essay?
MAYA- (whining) it's the hardest essay ever.
HAZEL- damn how many words is it?
MAYA- only five hundred I'm at four thirty now.
Hazel shoots her a look and shakes her head.
INT. TONYS - FLASH BACK TWO
Hazel Maya Ryan and Sterling sit a booth.
MAYA- oh my God where is our waiter with my food we've been waiting foreverrrrrr.
STERLING- it's been five minutes.
MAYA- Oh...haha.
Hazel shoots her a look and shakes her head.
INT. MAYAS ROOM - CURRENT TIME
MAYA- Well at least I'm fun?
Hazel rolls her eyes.
HAZEL- you need to go to the dentist.
MAYA- The what?
HAZEL- you heard me and you're too old to be scared of the dentist,
MAYA- I get my regular check up like everyone else.
