I wake up with an annoying pounding in my head. It's like someone throws solid hollow blocks in it. My eyes also sting, I can't easily open it so I calm myself for a moment and when I feel collected, I detect someone scootching me.

It was warm and soft. I hummed as I stretched my body on the bed with someone clinging into me like a koala. I opened my eyes carefully, the room wasn't bright because of the blackout curtains. This is my room, I am sure of it.

Nangunot ang noo ko sa mahimbing na babae na nakakapit sa akin. I smiled automatically and felt a gentle touch in my heart. I caress her face, tucking the excess hair behind her ear that's covering her sweet face. I leaned closer to kiss her on her naturally blushed cheek and took this moment to give her a soothing hug while she was still asleep. This girl is making me happy in this type of terrible morning.

I closed my eyes again as I still had the awful headache while still hugging this girl beside me but that didn't last long when her body began to move.

"M-mom? You're heavy..." Mahinang reklamo niya sa bagong gising na boses nito.

I chuckled lowly, "I know but mommy is currently not feeling well so I need a hug." I said with my closed eyes.

"Why? What happened to you? I waited for you last night. You said that you'll go home quickly but you didn't and when Ninang B brought you here, you were unconscious. I thought you were dead!"
Madamdaming usal nito, halatado ang lungkot at pag aalala sa tono ng boses niya at tila iiyak pa.

"Talaga po?" Biglang nagliwanag ang mata niyang naniningkit kanina dahil sa bagong gising. I nodded.

"Yehey! Yehey!" Nagsimula na siyang maglumikot sa kama, humiwalay pa ito sa pagkakayakap ko at nagsimulang magtatalon talon dahilan para lalong mabiyak ang ulo ko.

I groaned in pain, ni hindi ko magawang magsalita and then suddenly the door of my room swung open, "Letyzia! Go down! Look at your mom!"

Agad na nahinto ito sa pagtalon at dali daling yumakap sa akin ng mapagtanto niya ang itsura ko. "Mommy sorry po!" Paumanhin ng bata sa akin.
