"why do you want to die Hazel? why can't you live?" he asked angrily this time. And I couldn't hold myself, " because I'm tired, I'm tired of predenting to be strong, I'm tired of living Aiden, I tried, I tried to find reason to live but I failed at...
"And keep an eye on her" I reminded him, and he smiled.
I took my leave from him and called Max who was assigned to go with the girls.
"Hello? Is everything under control in the mall, Max? I asked on the call.
"Yes sir! The girls went to the salon and now Mariana has gone shopping while Hazel just went into chemist shop" he answered.
"What? Why has Hazel gone to the chemist? What is she buying?" she was perfectly fine in the morning.
"I don't know sir-", "Why don't you know? Why have you appointed you for?" I questioned him before he could complete his words.
"She told me that she wanted to buy some female personal things and asked me to stay outside as I was making her uncomfortable" he tried to defend himself.
"Okay but don't let her out of her sight as soon as she comes out and rings me when they complete their shopping. I will come to pick them up" I told him and ended the conversation.
After shortlisting the guards that will go with us tonight I decided to drive to the mall instead of waiting for the call.
My eyes wandered throughout the mall as I searched for Mary or Hazel as soon as I entered the mall.
Suddenly my eyes settled on her, and for a moment everything stopped.
She was standing beside Mary who was buying something, but my eyes refused to divert from Hazel. She was looking calm while the front hairs covered her forehead and fell onto her cheeks, she also shortened her hair from the back that was now elegantly falling onto her shoulders.
She looked as same as I saw her first time in our childhood. The sweet girl, too innocent for this cruel world. She does not remember me but I do. I remember her all too well.
Then her eyes found me. She didn't realize she was staring at me until Mary noticed me and shouted.
"Hey! What a surprise! Why are you here? She asked.
"I completed all the arrangements, so I thought to pick you up" I smiled towards Hazel, "Are you done here? The flight is in just a few hours" I added turning my attention towards Mary.
"Yes almost," she said. "Just a few more things to pick" she added.
After roaming from store to store for another half an hour, Mary finally stopped.
"Now, ready to go back?" I asked tiredly.
"Yes!" she said laughing.
I drove both of them back to home. I will not lie but my eyes were still fixed on Hazel, they were not missing any chance to lose her from their surveillance.
"Oh my god you are looking so... So new" Terry exclaimed as he opened the door for Hazel.
"She is right!" Mary exclaimed from behind.
"Come on guys pack your bags and load them in the car we don't have any more time, the fight is in an hour," I told everyone, they nodded and walked towards their room. I also walked towards mine and took a shower as I already packed my bags.
We reached the airport right on time, I was afraid we were getting late because of Mary but we made it on time.
I booked business class fight tickets inserted for our plane, as we don't want anyone to suspect.
I was only six to seven hours away from my destiny, something for which I had waited my whole life. So close to fulfilling the promise I made to my dying parents. Their words still ring through my ears but now it will all end and they could finally rest in peace.
