Maisie's POV

Before we could go into the Kyln apparently we had to strip and get sprayed by some liquid.

And this is why I never get caught.

"Is this really necessary?" I asked.

"What? You scared you'll get washed away?" Asked Rocket.

"No I just don't need pervs like you staring." I replied.

"Well I'm not looking." He said turning around.

By this time Gamora, and now Quill had both separately gone in to be soaked.

I started to remove my top as I was next in line. Kinda hard when you have a metal spine nailed into you though.

"Ow shit." I grumbled.

"What you grumbling for meerkat?" Asked Rocket still looking away.

"None of your damn business raccoon." I replied now having fully removed my top. The metal spine on my back mixed with dried blood now fully visible.

"I am Groot." Groot said.

"Tree I can't understand anything you say." I said starting to remove the bottom half of my outfit.

"She has more stuff on her back than me? Nah that's not true." Said Rocket still looking the same way.

"Alright bet. Take a look." I said standing straight.

He must have turned around right? Why isn't he saying anything? Is it that bad?

Rockets POV

Woah.

Groot was right.

I thought I was unlucky yet here she stands.
Do I say anything?

"Does it hurt?" I asked.

"Yeah it does but it's not like I can do anything about it. The moment I try do anything about it, it'll kill me." Maisie explained.

Wow. Do I feel bad for her?
Maybe I do. Or the panging feeling in my chest is something else I don't know.

"I am Groot. (Stop staring like that)" Said Groot.

"Again I can't understand what the trees saying." Maisie said.

Does she always have an attitude. It's nice. Waiiit no no no it isn't. What am I thinking.

"Um he says to hurry up because it's nearly your turn." I lied.

I turned away so that she could remove the rest of what she had on while giving Groot a 'watch it' look.
