i woke up with blankets fortified around my body as i groggily pulled the fluff off me. as i uncovered my face, i was greeted with the familiarity of hao's living room as i sat up on his sofa and looked around his apartment for any sight of the boy.
"morning sleepyhead, god you look amazing don't you?" the boy chuckled as he suddenly stepped out from behind a doorframe as he walked over to me with a plate of breakfast. "made some food but you weren't awake so here" he placed the tray on the small coffee table in front of me as the succulent scent of cooked bacon wafted into my nose.
i tried to bring myself to thank the boy but i had feverishly stuffed my mouth with the cooked goods on the plate in front of me, only being able to let out a muffled "thank you" that was probably inaudible due to all the food in my cheeks. as i swallowed, i began to spew my praise to the boy as i happily indulged in the food.
as i finished my meal, i thanked the boy one last time before leaving his apartment, feeling bad for overstaying as i quickly made my way home to my apartment - crashing into my bed as i pulled out my phone.
