INT. ANNE'S APARTMENT- DAY

Maya is packing up boxes as ANNE 70s a sweet grandmother with little bifocal glasses sitting on top of her nose.

MAYA- After I take these down to the storage unit that should be it Ms.Anne.

ANNE- Thank you MJ you sweet sweet girl.

Maya smiles.

MAYA- I'll be back to check on you later.

ANNE- You don't have to do that I know you have a lot to do.

MAYA- trust me I have time and I'll make sure you get a plate.

Anne smiles.

MAYA-(V.O) I saw this little sweet angel walking inside the building by herself the other struggling with some groceries and I had to help her....I don't know I was just thinking if my grandmother was somewhere by herself hopefully someone would help her....I miss her especially on days like today. I haven't talked to her since I moved out here.

Maya begins to carry the boxes out to leave.

ANNE- don't forget you be careful in that storage unit keep something in between the door to stop it from locking.

Maya smiles.

MAYA-  I will.

Maya begins to walk down the hall.

INT. HAZELS APARTMENT- DAY

Maya walks in and Hazel is walking out of the bathroom in a towel and shower cap on her head.

MAYA- you just getting up?

HAZEL- Hell yes...(she sniffs) what the hell is that, that smells so good? Obviously not you because you look dirty.

MAYA-(V.O) damn I do look a little dusty.

MAYA- Well to answer your question that is the turkey and girl shut up...I was helping Ms.Anne clean out some things in her apartment.

HAZEL- I still can't believe you made a friend in this building I don't know any of these people.
