"What!I won't accept his demands!I am the king!I won't bow to his demands even if has a set of armor that allows him to command thousands of dragons!I would rather let my capital city become a smoldering ruin of ash from the dragons then to accept his demands!I am the King!"Hol ripped the map apart before stomping on it.
"Besides the capital won't burn we got the hero.The hero will surely defeat this evil."Hol reassured himself.
War room
In the war room Velor and his party alongside the princess is coming up with a plan to stop the storm of death.
"The city of Jose is completely burnt based on the captain testimony.Princess is there any city that has a high volume of ballista?"Velor asked
"The capital has the highest amount of ballista out of any city.Don't tell me you are trying to fight the dragons here in the capital! Ballista can't pierce a dragon scale!"Julia said in horror.
"No of course not are there any city else beside the capital that has a high number of ballista?My plan is to make the projectile of the ballista fly at several times the speed of sound to pierce through the dragon scales."Velor revealed his plan
"Oh ok, the city of Lindon has a number of ballista but it will take weeks to get there."Julia said
"No worries princess.We will get there fast.My name is Daria I am the offensive mage in the hero party which I cast attack spells and I also create potions for the party.I have created speed potions for us.With the speed potions I have brewed we should be able to get to the city in 1/10 of the time normally needed."Daria introduced herself to the princess
"Oh, we are so engrossed in finding ways to the onslaught of dragons that we have forgotten to introduce ourselves.Girls please introduce yourself to the princess."Velor said
"Oh right I am Lily.I am an archer in the hero party.I can imbue my arrows with magic."Lily introduced herself
"My name is Jamie.I am the support mage.I cast healing and defensive spells."Jamie introduced herself
"Please to meet you Saria,Jamie and Lily I am-"Julia is cut off.
"You are princess Julia.Everyone will surely know your name considering that you are the princess of the nation."Lily, Jamie and Saria said in unison.
"Well then let's go and kill some dragons."Velor said
Eacloron(City of Lindon)
Velor and his party along with the princess arrived in the city in 1/10 of the time normally needed due to the speed potions given to the horses they rode.
"The hero and his party along with the princess have arrived!We are saved!"The residents of the city exclaimed in joy.
"Who is in charge of the city defenses?"Velor asked
"My captain Joshua!I am the one that is responsible for the defense of the city!"Joshua step forward.
"Joshua?Has the city placed as much ballista for it's defense as possible?"Velor asked
"There are still some ballista in storage but I want to keep those in reserve."Joshua said
"No.Get every single ballista out for the defense."Velor said
"Got it sir!"Joshua replied
After a few minutes ballista that is in storage at being hauled up to the city defenses.
