A new day dawned over Kushina Ghati, with the first rays of the sun casting a warm and golden glow over the serene valley. The previous night's events had taken their toll on Aayaan, and as he awoke, his mind was still shrouded in confusion. The encounter with Minerva had left him grappling with both desire and the burden of his nature.

Aayaan had spent the early hours of the morning contemplating his existence and his mother's sacrifice, as Minerva's words echoed in his mind. Her sensual advances had ignited a passionate fire within him, but her cryptic message about a hidden sacrifice had also left him with an insatiable curiosity.

As the sunlight streamed through his window, Aayaan took a long, refreshing shower, determined to cleanse himself of the remnants of the previous night's tumultuous events. The blood, both symbolic and real, was washed away, leaving him feeling rejuvenated and focused.

Dressed for the morning in clean attire, he made his way to the great hall of the ancestral house. It was a room steeped in history, adorned with portraits of generations past, each bearing the proud and stoic visage of the Gautam family. The grandeur of the hall was a reminder of the legacy Aayaan was now a part of.

As Aayaan sat on his sofa, his thoughts were consumed by the cryptic references to "a great sacrifice" that had been repeatedly mentioned by both Minerva and Mephistopheles. It was a phrase that had piqued his curiosity, and he couldn't help but wonder about the full extent and significance of this enigmatic concept.

As Aayaan delved into his contemplations, a sudden presence disrupted his solitude. A lady, dressed in a sleek and professional manner, made her entrance through the front door. She donned a knee-length black skirt, a black coat elegantly draping over her white shirt, and long, sophisticated heels that accentuated her attire. It was a surprising sight for Aayaan, as he was not expecting this visitor. This lady was none other than Meera Gautam, and her unexpected arrival left Aayaan intrigued and somewhat puzzled.

Rising from his seat, Aayaan greeted Meera with a warm and welcoming hug. "I heard you've returned from Paris," he said, a friendly smile gracing his lips. "So, I came to see you." Her words held a note of genuine enthusiasm, happy to connect with her after her return.

Aayaan inquired, "Why the visit? I haven't been away for long."

Meera returned his smile and gently touched his arm. "Well, you know how much I value our conversations, and I had to come back for a few business matters. But it's always good to be back home," she replied, her eyes filled with a sense of fondness for the place.

Aayaan said, "I provided you with everything so that I wouldn't have to worry about these matters. And now, you've come to me early in the morning to discuss this."

Meera's tone turned serious, and she fixed her gaze on Aayaan. He could sense that whatever she wanted to talk about was of significant importance. "Go ahead," he said, giving her his full attention.

"I've been informed that the Paris police are looking into the death of a young girl. Originally, they suspected it was an animal attack, but recent evidence suggests otherwise. Her autopsy indicates she was drugged and engaged in sexual activity with an unknown person. There's video footage of the girl leaving a club with a man, and that man happens to be you. However, they don't have concrete evidence to connect you, but they are considering an investigation for possible rape and murder," Meera explained.

Aayaan's eyes widened with surprise and concern as Meera relayed the troubling news. He hadn't anticipated such a revelation and felt a sudden rush of anxiety. "What? How did my name get involved in this? I don't even remember any of this," he responded, his mind racing to make sense of the situation.
