It's been a week since Hayes had left us.
I decided to text him.
"Hayes, I'm very sorry for what happened the other night. I just need to know are you going to be here for this baby?"
About 15 minutes later I got a response.
"I don't know what I'm going to do anymore. I'm suppose to be going to college in a month and I won't have time for another baby."
Why is he acting like this?
Once you have kids their suppose to come first, right?
"When you become a parent you're children are your FIRST priority. We don't have to be together just help me take care of our babies."
Taylor woke up and looked at me.
"Mommy when is daddy coming home?" He said.
"Soon. I hope."
My phone beeped.
"You're right. I got an apartment, it's on Strickland street. You can bring him over and I will have him for a week." Hayes texted.
"Taylor, do you want to stay with daddy for a few days?" I asked.
"Yes!" Taylor said with a smile.
I texted Hayes, "I'm omw."
I got Taylor's diaper bag and put some clothes in it with the rest of his stuff.
It was a 10 minute drive there and we arrived.
I walked Taylor to Hayes' door.
He opened the door.
"Thanks for bringing him.." Hayes said.
"No problem." I replied.
"Now Taylor call me before you go to bed and when you're ready to come home call me." I said to Taylor.
"Will do. Love you mommy!" Taylor said.
"I love you too." I said.
Taylor gave me a hug and a kiss and I drove off.
When I got home I went to the bathroom.
Why am I so pale and weak?
I called the doctor and made an appointment in 30 minutes.
I drove down there and the doctor ran some tests.
I laid there in the bed all by myself.
I didn't deserve any of this.
The doctor came back in with a paper and a sad look.
"Ashley, I'm sorry but we found a mass in you're ovaries and it's cancer."
My heart sunk.
Cancer.
Cancer ruined my relationship.
"We can call someone to stay with you at the hospital because that's where the ambulance is suppose to take you." Dr.Lyn said.
"Call Hayes please..."
I doubt he'll care...
-the doctor and Hayes convo-
"Hello hayes. This is Dr.Lyn and I'm calling because ashley has to go to the hospital. We found a mass in her ovaries and it's cancer."
"Where is she going?" Hayes said.
"St.Miracle Cancer Hospital." She replied.
"I'm omw to take her there."
-end of call-
"He's on his way. Stand outside and wait for him."
I got up and openedthe door.
"Oh and don't forget, you can beat this!"
I smiled and walked outside.
I got in Hayes' car.
"I'm sorry for everything." Hayes said and drove off.
"I'm wasn't pregnant."
About 20 mines later we arrived at the hospital.
We checked in and went to the room and fell asleep.
