lana wakes up in jacks arms, right where she fell asleep. she is able to slip out of his arms and crawl out of bed, still only wearing one oh his shirts. he's started to keep a drawer of them at her place, she can add this one to her collection when she gets home.
she makes herself a pot of coffee and goes through his bookshelf in his living room. she finds a book and opens it, waiting for jack to wake up.
lana starts reading slowly getting intrigued in the characters love life, still shocked about why jack has this book. it doesn't take long for her to realize this book is straight smut- even more shocked than before, jack had never mentioned that reading smut was a guilty pleasure of his.
eventually jack comes out of his room, in just his boxers, walking straight to lana. he steals a small sip of her coffee and then looks over her shoulder. "whatcha reading" he asks her.
"icebreaker" she says, showing him the cover.
"ahh looks like fun" he says standing up to go grab some coffee of his own.
"so jack, you never told me that you loved to read smut!?" she says closing the book, adjusting herself to face him
"smut? i don't even know what that is and i definitely don't read" he says slightly chuckling
"sure..." she says, starting to get up and walk towards him.
"no really, i don't even know what that is" he argues
"like legit? it's basically porn on paper" she laughs "if you don't read this then why was it on your shelf?"
"i'm not even going to lie- i have not read a single book that's on that shelf" he laughs, walking closer to her.
"why do you have all these books then?" lana chuckles, genuinely confused
"so it feels more..." jack tries to think of the right word "homier" he finally says
"you bought a bunch of smutty books so your place would feel- more homier?" she teased him
"i didn't buy them" he says as if she should've known that.
"so you stole them?" lana pries for answers
"they were giving them away at the thrift store" he reasons.
nico walks out of his room, pants sitting low on his waist. he comes up to them and asks "whatcha reading?"
"here, read" she says opening it and giving it to him
"holy fuck girl" he says, eyes wide at what he's reading, lana's grinning in the background, happy that he doesn't stop.
"have fun with that one" lana says patting his shoulder and walking away, going to go put on real clothes.

"why are you reading nico" luke says entering the living room, seeing nico nose in a book
"it's called icebreaker, read this" he says giving luke the book
"WHOAH NICO WHERE THE FUCK DID YOU GET THIS?" luke practically screams "i didn't know you could watch porn and read at the same time!"
"i know, pretty great right" nico says with a smile on his face

jack and lana went out for the afternoon, shopping and eating lots of food. when they got back lana rushed to unlock the door to show the guys what she all bought
she walked in and saw nico and luke basically cuddling, both still reading "oh my god are you guys still reading jacks smut?!" she said running up behind them to see
"it's not my smut" jack says immediately, defending himself.
"uh maybe" nico said, trying to hide his grin "i love this shit" luke said not taking his eyes off the book.
"did you buy lots?" nico asked, noticing the bags she was holding. lana started nodding and ruffling through bags "go put em on and show us" he said excitedly
"what why" luke said
"after girls go clothes shopping they need to show it all off to everyone" nico explains
"since when?" luke argues
"since literally forever," he says as if it's common sense. "guess you wouldn't know that, you never had a sister" nico reassures him
"but what if i don't care or don't want to see?" luke asks, slightly offending lana
"that's all apart of it, you can't back out" she says to him, starting to walk to jacks room to go put them on. luke just sighs, realizing what he got himself into.
"so i guess you never had a girlfriend either then if you don't know abt the fashion show eh?" nico questions luke. he looks up from the book and glares at nico
"no, he hasn't" jack laughs
lana walks out of his room, wearing the first outfit. she walks out to the living room to show them.
"yeah well it's not like you have one either jack" luke glares at him
"yeah about that" jack says grinning at lana
"about what?" lana says, genuinely confused, she had missed part of the conversation
"wait you guys finally made it official?" nico says excitedly looking between the two
"yeahhh" she says blushing, starting to walk towards jack to go sit on his knee.
"also love the fit" nico says, trying to hype up lana.
"wow you're so good at this whole fashion show thing, teach them a thing or two" she winks at nico while walking away, saying nothing else.
"hey it's not our fault we don't have a sister"
