Before the story begins, I want to send a Thank You to a few people that have been a part of this journey for me:
To Aphmau (Jess) for creating her series, Minecraft Diaries. It entrapped me as a teenager and still parts of your story stick with me 9 years later. You helped me see that I could potentially write, connected me with one of my good friends, and started my love for writing. Though I've used parts of your storyline and characters, I hope that if you ever read this, you would see the way I've interpreted it and expanded upon it in the instances that I could.
Again, thank you for this stepping stone.
To Tori for being a great friend and also helping me start off on writing. You supported me and to this day help me see joy in what we can create.
To Steven (Seth), for being my supportive friend, boyfriend, and then husband. You supported me in so many ways that I can't thank you enough for what you've done to help me through the writer's block, all the trouble I had with sections of stories, and letting me read to you even when you had better things to do.
