"Hao, she went inside the building already" I say

"Yeah, I know"

"Then why do you look so worried"

"There's someone I don't want to see right now," Hao says, narrowing his eyes "Anyways, thanks. Bye." Hao says curtly, and quickly walks away. I stand frozen.

The fuck?

I shrug it off, looking around cautiously as well, checking if anyone is stalking me. Gotta be careful, y'know?

Within the crowd, I see a head with platinum blonde hair, almost silver. Ricky. No one else has that hair color other than Ricky. He just likes being extra.

I push through the amount of people my age, and surely see the face of Ricky, and next to him, the face of a certain Gyuvin. My eyes widen as I make eye contact with Ricky, who also looks at me with wide eyes. Why the fuck is he surprised? He's the one who has disappeared for days, and he's the one who's surprised?

As I approach them, I smile slightly at Gyuvin and slap Ricky's arm

"Ow! What the fuck was that for?"

"I don't know man. Maybe because you disappeared and said nothing about it?"

"It was only one day... and anyways, it's not like you called me or anything either"

"Yeah... but that's because-" I was about to protest but rememberd that Gyuvin was here. With Ricky. Gyuvin, Ricky. Ricky, Gyuvin. Did they make up or...?

"Uh-"

"I'll explain later. I have an exam right now" Ricky blurts out, and runs off

"Yeah, me too. Bye Hanbin" Gyucin says, and also speeds off in the speed of lighting.

Ok?

I walk to my building as well, which is coincidentally the same building in which I saw Hao enter. Will I see him on my way? I hope I do. Why do I hope so? I don't know. Who cares

I look through the windows of each classroom, trying to spot the narrow eyes and concentrated face of Hao, but I see no one. I sigh, disappointed, and head to my room. But right next to my classroom, I spot a boy with dark ginger hair, biting his nails slightly, looking nervously around the room. I guess he's going to have his chemistry exam right now. As I look at him, his eyes meet mine, and it feels weird.

We stare at each other for two very long seconds, and I motion him to come out of the room. He sighs and gets up, a few people from his class watching him go. He's clearly very loved in this school. Hao walks out of the door, in which I meet him by I place an arm on the wall, smiling down at the boy that is inclined against the wall

"What's up?" Hao says, voice slightly annoyed, arms crossed

"You have the chem exam right now?" I ask, and Hao nods

"Yeah, thanks for reminding me about my own exams. What do you want, Hanbin?" he asks, making me laugh lightly

"Just came to cheer you up. You'll do fine, Hao, don't worry about it" I say. Hao nods and smiles. A fake one.

"Thanks, Hanbin. You can go now" Hao says. I feel something inside me hurt. Why is he acting like that

"Why are you acting like that?" I ask

"Like what?" Hao says, looking everywhere but my eyes. Does he think I'm too close right now?

"Like you don't like me"

"Because I don't" He responds. I laugh

"Oh, come on. We all know that's a lie by now. Seriously though, what's wrong"

"Dunno. I'm just sorta stressed" he says and I hum. I cup his face, making him look at me

"You'll do fine, I promise. I barely needed to help you yesterday. You're a genius Hao, and I know that you can do it" I say, feeling inspirational 'just don't regret how much you studied, and tell yourself that you will do just fine. Stress makes it all worse"

Hao smiles. A real one.

"Thanks, Hanbin. I hope you'll do well on your test as well. You did great yesterday" Hao says timidly, making me laugh

"That's definitely not what you told me yesterday" I say between laughs, and then I pat him on his shoulder

"Good luck Hao. I'll take you to get something to eat after school" I say. I see that Hao is about to protest, but then he closes his mouth and nods

"Thanks. I'll text you" He says, and opens the door to his classroom and goes in

He'll do just fine.
