TAEHYUNG WAS THE FIRST TO EXIT THE CAR once Jungkook had parked it on the side of the road. The way the leaves eerily blew in the cool wind made chills crawl down his spine. He was astonished by how often he'd been visiting the woods he's lived near for majority of his life this past week. With every visit it seemed more unusual, even different than before. This time around he felt a weird surge of longing for the woods which spooked him. The sounds of car doors being shut behind him made him turn around noticing Jennie holding out a flashlight for him to grab.
"Ready?" She softly asked as she turned on her own flashlight illuminating the path in front of the group. She felt a weird sensation settle in the pit of her stomach the more she realized how much danger they were potentially putting themselves in.
Taehyung slightly nodded slinging his camera over his head allowing it to loosely hang on his neck. "Yeah, I'm ready." He replied flicking on his flashlight.
Jungkook took a deep inhale waving his flashlight around allowing him to see the terrain in front of them. Silently he stepped forward and the rest of the group followed closely behind with soft steps afraid of making too much noise. The sounds of their shoes crunching on fallen branches echoed in the quiet air making the group gulp their fear as they tentatively listened to their surroundings.
Lisa quickly turned around feeling an odd sensation strike her back. She felt like eyes were watching their every move which was unsettling to her. Swishing the flashlight around with narrow eyes she noticed nothing was behind her making her sigh and continue forward. Everything felt off like what they were doing was completely irresponsible, almost like they weren't meant to be out there. Crunch. Lisa jumped her free hand grabbing anything near her, which happened to be someone else's hand. "What was that!" She yelped her eyes jumping around the trees hoping to spot whatever made the noise.
Jungkook slightly froze at the skin contact but quickly regained his composure hoping he wasn't too obvious. "If you wanted to hold my hand all you needed to do was ask." He playfully whispered as Lisa stuck to his side in fright.
Lisa glanced down with furrowed brows confused by his words. She hadn't realized she subconsciously intertwined her hand with his. Her eyes widened and she instantly retracted her touch. "Sorry." She muttered shocked by her movements.
Jungkook lightly smiled. "If you feel comfortable you can keep holding it?" He sincerely told her holding out his palm for her to grab.
Lisa glanced at it with hesitation coursing through her veins. She wanted to out of fear but she knew he would never let her live in peace without bringing up this embarrassing memory.
