"Also, why are you here? The lessons aren't over." Enid said, curious. "Especially not yours."
"I was kicked out because I wasn't paying attention," Wednesday said. "Which is why I am here."
"Continue," Enid said, sitting up and facing the girl across the room.
"Every now and then there is like a fire in my chest," Wednesday said, pointing at her chest, especially at her heart. "And I don't really want to go to the doctor, so I am thinking what is happening to me."
"Hmmm, never heard someone having a fire in their chest was a medical thing," Enid said. "It's probably just you having a crush on someone, and that someone is so sweet to you that it, as the saying goes, melts your heart."
Wednesday thought about the explanation. She...and a crush? The witches at her birth knew she was going to be alone, so why would it suddenly change?
"Thanks." "Anytime, Wednesday, anytime." Enid sweetly said and laid back down, continuing to read whatever she was reading on her phone.
And there was it again; an ignition in her heart.
Am I falling in love with Enid?!??!

"Um, Wednesday, you are kinda...sweating." She heard coming from as Enid was sitting next to her. She immediately wiped her forehead, moments before Enid looked at her.
"I'm not." "Yes, Xavier, she is not," Enid added. Wednesday was surprised since no one would ever do this to her...
...Enid is indeed different.
And again, the burning. The annoying fire.
Enid resumed talking to the rest, while Wednesday blankly stared into the book in front of her.
Okay, heart. If it's you who does it, then make it stop. Wednesday thought, as she was giving up; why the hell was this happening?
Suddenly, she began unknowingly moving her hand down on the bench, nearing towards...Enid's.
Body, stop. She mentally ordered, but was no luck, since her hand carefully grabbed Enid's hand. But it surprised her that Enid didn't ask her what was she doing, but she did interlace their fingers together.
Wednesday was shocked, surprised, and hated that feeling in her body...the tingles.
Enid's hand was warm...comfortably warm.
... just you having a crush on someone ...
I...like Enid.
She's funny...cute...nice...doesn't hate me for who I am...
I could technically like Enid...
I like girls...

"Why does Xavier still try to talk to you?" Enid asked, a bit of anger in her voice.
"I have no idea." Wednesday quietly replied.
"Ugh, I swear I will not be a nice wolf, and bite him," Enid said. "He's getting on my nerves."
Wednesday, and probably Enid too, didn't notice that since they left the bench and were walking to their room, they didn't let go of each other.
Wednesday had her hand glued to Enid's.
"You have very soft skin."
Geez, that's what I came up with as a compliment.
"Why thank you!" Enid chirped. "You are very warm, which is strange, given your cold attitude."
"I take that as a compliment." "But it is! It's just part of you." Enid said. "You being cold is being you, and that is something not everyone can be; be yourself."
"But you are yourself," Wednesday said.
"I am, but I do hide some things from people, which is already not being completely yourself," Enid said. "But from you, I have never hid anything!"
"Really?" Wednesday asked. "Am I that...trustworthy?"
"Of course, roomie!" Enid said. "Aaaanndd...I need to be nice to you because they blew the furnace and it is supposed to be cold tonight."
"Are you asking me...to..." Wednesday felt the heat moving from her chest to her cheeks. "...cuddle?"
"Didn't ask you yet, but yes." Enid smiled. "Can I cuddle tonight with you?"

Wednesday began to regret her answer. Her chest was boiling, every time she just looked at her bed, where currently laid one of Enid's favorite plushies, she felt the heat also rising to her cheeks. And most importantly, she was scared for some reason.
She wanted to barge into the bathroom, saying she changed her mind, but she didn't want to. She may be known to have a black heart, but even that is capable of being nice to someone.
She also had a thought that since she was a werewolf, her body should be able to adjust to lower temperatures, and it wasn't that cold here anyway...Wednesday had two hoodies on her.
After a while of sitting on her chair, she saw the door to their bathroom open, and out walked Enid, wearing a sweater in...let's say not straight color.
"Why do I put on makeup anyway?" Enid asked herself, as she brushed her hair lightly.
"I don't think you need it." "Come on, not everyone has a face so soft as you." Enid pouted. "Someone gotta do something to look decent, while someone doesn't have to do anything."
Wednesday stayed quiet since she didn't know if when she spoke, she wouldn't embarrass herself.
Suddenly, a knock on the door was heard, and it immediately opened.
"Wednesday!"
Xavier.
"Salam alleikum." Wednesday let out, throwing the ball she had in her hand toward him, and hitting him in the face.
"Ow." He said. "Why-"
"Why can't you just accept that no, Wednesday's not interested?" Enid now said, walking behind Xavier.
"But...I jus-" "No, stop." Enid interrupted him. "Out."
Xavier, defeated, walked backward through the door, with Enid slamming the door behind, hearing a quiet "ow" from the other side, making her smirk.
"That oughta do it." She said, proud of herself, when she suddenly saw Wednesday, just...looking at her.
"Wednesday...?" Enid asked, worried and scared at the same time.
"You...stood up...for me," Wednesday said, almost whispering.
"Well, not stood up, just made him finally unders-"
Wednesday hugged her.
"Thank you." The smaller girl mumbled loud enough for Enid to hear.
"Anytime, Wednesday," Enid said, wrapping her arms around her.
It's love...and I don't hate it.
