HAPPY SPOOPY SEASON :DDD

Mumbo's Perspective-

"What do you mean come over now?" I asked.

"Just come on. Grian said he's free and I wanna do this project with both of my boyfriends." Scar said.

I sighed, but a smile stayed on my face.

"Fine." I said, getting up, "I'm biking over now. Be there in 10."

"Okay!" Scar said cheerfully before hanging up.

I walked to the garage and grabbed my bike.

I strapped on my helmet and started peddling towards Scar's house, wondering what activity he had set up for us today.

-

"Pumpkin carving!" Scar said cheerfully as I got off my bike.

"Pumpkin carving?" I repeated, confused.

"Yeah! Halloween's coming up, so why not?"

I laughed as I sat down on Scar's kitchen floor.

He had laid out newspaper and carving tools
.
"I already picked out what mine's gonna look like." Scar said, "What are you gonna do?"

"Probably a mustache." I said, earning a giggle from Grian.

"What are you doing, Birdie?" I asked Grian.

"Er- I'm gonna do a parrot." Grian said, rolling up his sleeves.

I nodded as I grabbed one of the small, orange pumpkins.

Grian grabbed one as well and grabbed a carving tool.

He was about to poke a hole when me and Scar stopped him.

"What?" He asked, looking a bit scared and shocked.

"You're supposed to take the filling outside of the pumpkin." I told Grian, "Haven't you done this before?"

"Er- not in a while." Grian said, embarrassed.

"And you're supposed to draw your design first." Scar said, passing Grian a marker.

We all drew our designs before putting on gloves and taking off the top of the pumpkin.

"Ew." Grian said, gagging as he took out the gooey insides of the pumpkin.

Me and Scar laughed.

"Shut up!" Grian said, putting the gooey stuff down on the newspaper.

"This is gross." He muttered.

"Come on, it's not too bad." Scar said, moving some of the goo near Grian who yelped and stepped back.

"Shut up!" He shouted, his face red.

"Oh, come on Birdie, you know we would never actually do that to you." I said, kissing Grian's cheek.

He blushed and shrugged, "I guess."

I started carving out the mustache on my pumpkin when Scar's mother walked in.

She laughed as she saw mine.

"A mustache?" She asked.

"What else do you think I'd do?" I asked her and she laughed again.

She walked past her son and saw what he was doing.

"Is that supposed to be Jellie?" She asked and Scar nodded.

She giggled as she pat her son's head before getting water and leaving.

Grian looked over at Scar's and his mouth fell open.

"How is yours so much better?" He asked and Scar chuckled.

"I'm sure yours is great." Scar said, looking at Grian's.

"No." Grian mumbled, "It's not great. It's not good at all."

I looked over at it, "Birdie, that's super detailed! It's good! Look at mine, it's just a mustache and two eyes!"

Grian laughed, "Yeah but it's funny!"

"Grian," Scar said, messing with Grian's hair, "Your pumpkins the fucking best."

-

Scar put the final light into his pumpkin before stepping off the porch and seeing them lit up.

"I don't know about you guys, but I think mine's the best." I said and they both laughed.

"I like both of yours." Grian said, smiling softly.

"Well, I think yours is the best." Scar said to Grian.

"Definitely." I agreed.

Grian blushed, "No, it's- "

"Birdie, you gotta give yourself credit." I said, making Grian look at me.

He hesitated and then nodded.

I smiled, "Good."

I kissed his forehead.

"Well, I hope you both had fun today." Scar said, smiling at both of us.

"Yeah! It was fun." I smiled.

I then kissed Scar's cheek and waved goodbye, getting on my bike.

I biked off towards my house, smiling as the day slowly left; hoping that more fun times were soon going to come with my boyfriends.

I love you.
