Bohdi: It's a local tradition

Poppy: Stairway's pumping like once a year so everyone gets obsessed over the big waves

Summer: Let's do it then it can be my big send off

Manu: Any of you thinking of going up there you're barred from the club all right so just relax

KeKoa: We can't believe you go back to New York in a week

Poppy: Our lives are going to be so empty

I lightly slap Poppy.

Bodhi: Hey she's telling the truth

Summer: Yo you guys should come visit me in New York

Poppy: Yes and then let's go to Hawaii

Bodhi: Pops Hawaii's on the way to New York

Poppy: I know that it's also on the way back

Summer: Think about it

KeKoa: You think about it

Bodhi's phone goes off so she gets up and excuses herself.

*Later that day*

We had finished everything up for the event tomorrow and we were all just sitting around talking.

* The next day*

Once everyone arrived Poppy and I made an announcement.

Poppy: Welcome to the Boardriders' fundraiser your support is what keeps Shorehaven Boardriders afloat

KeKoa: Frigg's and chips is donating five bucks every minute our Boardriders' champs stay in the ice bath and our brave coach volunteered to go first

Poppy: Everybody give him a warm welcome

Manu walked up and got ready to get in.

KeKoa: And your time starts now

Manu sat down right when I said starts. Soon enough Poppy was in the ice bath.

KeKoa: Whoa 12 minutes our new record
Ari came running up to Poppy and I.

Ari: Hey guys sorry to distract you Pops

Poppy: Please distract me

Ari: When you get out I kind of stuffed up with Summer

Soon Summer came back and we all went to talk to her.

Bohdi: Hey Ari told us about the news

Poppy: And he feels really bad for how it came out

Ari: Yeah totally

KeKoa: I'm sorry things still aren't good with your mom or whatever but we're so stoked you're staying longer

Summer: What if I don't wanna stay longer

Bohdi: Kind of looked like you were having a good time

Summer: Because I knew I was leaving even the most boring stink hole in the universe can be fun for five minutes

Poppy: Ok didn't realize it was so painful hanging out with us

Summer: Do the math Poppy you're literally the only people in town I did the best with what I had

KeKoa: Well if it's so painful don't think about coming back or contacting us after you're gone

With that she walked off. Marlon rested my hand on my shoulder letting me know that he's there for support as Ari walks off to talk to his parents and the girls go talk to Bodhi's dad just like we talked about. I turned and looked up at Marlon with tears in my eyes before I wiped them away and smiled at him.

Marlon: Just like we talked about

I just nodded not wanting to break in front of him.

Marlon: Are you alright

Baylen: Obviously just mourning the best loss of my life

Marlon: Gosh nothing affects your sarcasm does it

KeKoa: Never

We laugh before heading back to the event soon enough Marlon and Ari are nowhere to be found and the girls and I are talking.

Bodhi: She couldn't have meant all that

KeKoa: Or maybe we're finally seeing the real Summer

*Later that day*

The Gibson's went home but one good Marlon told me what happened when him and Ari up and vanished. I can't believe Summer would have put Ari through that again put his family through that again his friends too.

*A few days later*

Everyone's at Jarrah Island. We're all outside eating and enjoying the warm sun. We talked about how Marlon finally made it into Anchor cove and how he's made a family out of it. I caught him staring at me a few times and I looked at him with pure sadness in my eyes. Since Ari and Summer aren't here we're basically missing half our team it's lonely but it's less chaotic without Summer and I know what I told her was wrong or rude but I was telling what I felt like saying in that moment and maybe i did mean it maybe I didn't. Later that night Anchor cove was blasting music so Poppy and I went to tell them to turn it down but no one answered so we walked away Poppy saw Griff and stopped to talk to him mean while I went back inside giving them some privacy. I then went to bed. The next morning. Poppy's heat didn't go to well she barely scraped third luckily she made it in second. Now it's Ari's heat but he's not here yet and the commentator won't wait an extra 5 minutes so Marin offered to surf Ari's heat and for Ari to surf his. Manu agreed so the commentator gave Marlon the shirt for Ari's heat and he took off down by everyone else in that heat. Marlon came back in I watched as he ran over to anchor cove. Ari arrived just in time. Bodhi, Poppy, and I were standing there watching Ari's heat when we heard Summer from beside us.

Summer: Hey ladies

I turned and looked at Manu.

KeKoa: Told you she'd tag along

Manu: Be patient

I turned back to watch Ari's heat.

Summer: Come on you didn't think you could get rid of me that easy did you

Poppy: We never tried to get rid of you Summer

Bodhi: You're the one who hates being here

I had nothing to say to Summer I said what U said that day and I'm not taking it back till she apologizes to me too. She had no right to talk that way to me or the girls when all we did was tel her how stoked we were for her to stay longer.

Summer: I didn't mean all that stuff I said I was angry and I shouldn't have taken it out on you guys especially you Baylen

KeKoa: We're tryin g to watch Ari's heat

Summer looked upset that none of us wanted to talk to her but she deserved to feel the hurt that the girls did. I know Ive only been in Ausie for 3 months longer than summer and Ive only known everyone a month longer than Summer but Bohdi and Poppy will forever be my girls no matter what.

*The next day*

Today is finals. None of us have spoken to Summer. I mean she doesn't really deserve it she said some hurtful things to us just cause she was mad at her mom. Yes maybe I said hurtful things but she deserved it at the time. Bodhi's heat was up and she scored an 8.1 and then no one could see her.

*Later*

We were all in the hospital for Bodhi. Summer just had to distract her the. Save her which I like her for that but even if we made up in the way here Bodhi won and now she can't surf the finals.

*The next day*

It's officially finals and Bodhi was given the all clear to surf. The girls went out there for their heat  with everyone cheering them on. Poppy finished in first with a 9.8 and Bodhi in second the Morehouse in third. With that we won and Summer had officially left for New York.
