I hope y'all enjoy this chapter, this is not my favorite. Sorry I forgot to post for a while.

A few weeks later…
Bluey

Beep… beep… Beep!

I woke up, and yawned. It was Friday. A beautiful Friday. Nothing to worry about, no homework, no projects. Just, perfect.
I turned off my alarm clock and pulled my bed covers over my head.
"Bluey! Brekkie!" Mum called me from downstairs.
I slowly rose from my bed and stretched.
"Coming Mum!" I said sleepily.
I put my pillow back on my bed, since it fell off last night.
I brushed my messy fur in front of my mirror and headed downstairs.
"Morning Mum!" I said, and sat down at the kitchen table. Dad was already there, reading his magazine, and drinking coffee.
"Hi Dad." I greeted him.
"Morning kiddo." He said, and put his magazine down on the table.
Mum walked over to the table and handed me a pancake with blueberries on it.
"Thanks Mum." I said.
"Morning everyone!" Bingo said sleepily as she came downstairs.
"Hello Bingo!" Mum greeted her.
Bingo sat by me, and Mum gave her a pancake (without gluten).
Bingo started to slowly eat.
Something was wrong with her.
"Bingo, what's wrong?" I asked her.
"Oh, nothing. I'm just more tired than usual." She replied.
"Okay…" I said.
I finished my pancake and put it in the sink. Then headed back upstairs.
I brushed my teeth and grabbed my backpack from my room.
"Blueyyy! Come on!" Bingo said from downstairs impatiently.
'She can't wait another minute can she?' I thought and rolled my eyes.
"Coming Bingo!" I said and headed downstairs. "Can't you be more patient?" I said. And waved bye to Mum.
We headed out the door.
"Well, no." She joked. And slightly laughed.
"Okay," I said. And laughed with her.
We got to the bus stop and saw a dog that we had never seen before.
He was a German shepherd, with brown and white fur, and brown eyes.
He was a fluffy dog and look quite happy and nervous at the same time.
"Hi! I'm Max!" He says cheerfully. And waved.
"Hi, I'm Bluey, and this is my little sister-"
"Bluey, I can introduce myself." Bingo stated, interrupting me.
"Okay, then do it." I said.
"Uh, nevermind. You do it." Bingo said.
I giggled. "Oh Bingo. Anyways, I'm Bluey and she's my little sister, Bingo." I told Max.
"Nice to meet you guys!" He said.
Then Judo and Lucky walked up to us followed by Jean-Luc.
"Hey, guy- who's this dude?" Lucky said, and pointed at Max.
"I'm Max, I just moved here from Canada!" Max said.
"Hm." Lucky tapped his chin.
"What Lucky?" Judo asked, and Lucky whispers something in her ear.
Judo's eyes go wide and she whispers something back.
"Uh." I said.
"Oh sorry." Judo and Lucky said. But they kept exchanging looks.
"Okay…" I said.
The bus arrives and we get on.

Mackenzie

Swirls around me…
Bluey's high pitched scream…
Glass shattering…
Jean-Luc and I fighting…
Jean-Luc pushing me…
Blood around me…
Vision fading…

I woke up with a stalt.
Everything was blurry.
Beads of sweat fell down the side of my face.
Voices were all around me.
"Mackenzie! You're awake!"
"Lia! Get the doctor!"
"Okay!"
I rubbed my eyes, and saw Mum.
"Mum? What happened?" I asked.
Or I thought I asked.
"Mackenzie? Are you okay?" Mum asked me.
"Yeah I'm fine!" I said.
I wasn't though. My head hurts. I can't see very well, and I don't think I can speak either.
Then Lia and a dog in a white coat, who I'm guessing is the doctor, walked in.
"Mackie! Are you okay?" Lia said when she saw me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I said.
"Dr. Shepherd, will he be okay?" Mum asked the doctor.
"Well, it was a 20 feet drop. But yes, he'll be alright." He said, " but Mackenzie does have a head concussion, a broken leg, a broken arm, and he won't be able to speak very well ethier."
"Oh, is that why he is just muffling?" Mum asked.
"Yes."
Ah great. I can't talk.
A frown shifted across my face. What did I do to deserve this?
"How long have I been out?" I tried to say.
"What Mackie?" Lia asks.
"How. Long. Have. I. Been. Out?" I repeated.
"How long have you been out?" Lia said.
I nodded my head, or tried to.
"Um, about 3 days." She said, looking up at the ceiling and tapping her head.
Wow.
I figured I needed a way to communicate with Mum and Lia.
I stared at Lia until she met me in the eye.
I then made hand signals as if to ask what time it was.
"It's 8:31 right now." She said.
Lia understood me! Yes!
Lia always tried to help me no matter what happened. Like when I was nine. I broke my leg playing football and she was there to help me until I healed.
"Hey Mum, when can Mackenzie come home?" Lia asked Mum.
"I don't know yet honey." Mum replied.
"He can come home with you guys within two weeks or three." The doctor said.
"Aww." I muffled.
