At school

I walked to my locker as Bluey went over to Chloe, Winnie and Honey, which isn't too far from me.

Lucky came up to me and waved.

"What's up?" He said.

I shrugged, grabbing my books and then closed my locker with my foot.

We walked towards the girls, where Bluey was telling them something. She noticed us and her mouth stopped moving.

"Uh, I'm gonna go," she said nervously and walked down to homeroom

"What was that about?" I said.

"I don't know, But I'm gonna go, bye!" Lucky said and walked away.

"Weird," I said quietly, and walked to homeroom.

I sat down next to Bluey, she was reading a book, but her eyes kept trailing off it.

At lunch

I went up to our usual lunch table with Rusty and Indy.

I sat down next to Lucky as Indy sat down next to Winnie, Rusty right next to her.

I didn't feel like eating so I just went outside.

I lean against a tree nearby and stared at my feet.

"Hi Kenzie," Bluey said.

"Hi," I said.

Chloe came up a few minutes later and her eyes lit up with excitement.

"Bluey! Come here!" She said.

"Uh, okay?" She said and walked to Chloe.

"Be right back Kenzie!"

What now?

Chloe whispered something in her ear and Bluey frowned.

She started to talk to her annoyed.

She opened her mouth, but no words came out. Bluey took a deep breath, and nodded slowly.

"Really?" Chloe screamed, "you actually like-"

"Shut up!" Bluey said, and covered up Chloe's mouth with her paw.

"Sorry, I'm just glad you-" Chloe stopped talking at looked over at me, realizing I was watching them.

She leaned to Bluey's ear to whisper something.

Honey then came up to me.

"Hello," she said, softly, looking around. "Where is everyone?"

I shrugged. "Bluey and Chloe are over there talking about something, I don't where everyone else is, though,"

"Oh, oka-" Suddenly a long bang came from the right of us, making Honey grab my paw in fear.

She held onto it for a while, not realizing.

"Uh..." I said awkwardly.

"Sorry," She apologized, and pulled her paw away quickly.

"That's okay,"

Bluey and Chloe came back over to us a couple minutes later.

"I feel like you girls are hiding something," I said.

"What do you mean by that?" Bluey asked, digging her foot into the muddy grass.

"I don't know," I shrugged. "Whenever I'm near you, you just stop talking,"

"Well it's because Bluey-"

"Shut up Chloe!" Bluey said, stomping on her foot.

"Ow!" She said, jumping up and down. "That wasn't necessary,"

"It's the only way to get you to shut up, and not say anything,"

"Okay, I guess that is fair,"

The bell rang, Chloe and Honey going to their next class together, leaving Bluey and I there.

"Let's go," She said, and walked inside the building, me right behind her.

"Why'd you stop Chloe from talking?" I asked.

"Because she was going to say that I like you," Bluey said blankly, then slapped her paw on her mouth, realizing her mistake.

Did I hear her right?

"Uh, I mean-"

"Don't worry, I like you too," I said quietly.
