Valentine's Day, and The Dance. Part Two.

Bluey

After hearing Judo's 'brilliant' plan, I ran out of her house and got ready.
I was going to the 7:00 one with Mackenzie, and the 10:00 one with Jean-Luc.
I felt like it was kind of a bad idea, but at least no one's feelings will be hurt...

Right?

As I was getting ready, Bingo came into my room.
"Hey Bluey?" She said, and sat on my bed.
"Yes Bingo?" I replied, and brushed my fur.
"Um, do you wanna play with me? I'm bored."
"Bingo, I have to go in a little bit."
"Please? You'll be gone for like 5 hours!"
"Okay fine. I'll be there in a sec."
I finished getting ready and headed into the TV room.
Bingo and I played for a while.
"What time is it Bingo?" I asked her as we finished up a board game.
"Um, 7:10." Bingo replied.
"Oh shoot!" I said. "I gotta go!"
I dropped the card I was holding and ran to Mum.
"Mum! We gotta go! We're late!" I said.
"Whoops. Let's go!" Mum took me to school.
When I got there, I saw Judo and Mackenzie.
"Sorry I'm late!" I said.
"That's okay." They said,
I looked around. Why was no one else there?
"Um, where is everyone?" I asked.
"Oh, they all went inside." Judo said.
I smiled at Mackenzie slightly, and he blushed.
"Uh, I'll go inside." Judo said and walked inside.
Mackenzie and I just stood there awkwardly.
After a few minutes,I grabbed his paw and we headed inside to the second floor.
We walked up the stairs, talking when I stopped in my tracks when I saw a familiar dark face.
I let go of Kenzie's hand and took a step back.
"Jean-Luc? W-what are you d-doing h-here?" I said.
Mackenzie raised his eyebrow.
"I was about to ask him the same thing." Jean-Luc answered and looked at Mackenzie.
I bit my lip.
Uh-oh.
"Wait, why were you guys holding hands?" Jean-Luc asked.
"Ummm…"
"Bluey?"
I stared at the ground.
The guys started arguing, and before I knew it, they started fighting. Which made no sense. Why are they fighting?
"Guys stop-" I tried to pull them apart, but got pushed back.
I still don't get why they're fighting. Are they fighting over me?
I grabbed Mackenzie by his fur and pulled him away.
I could tell Jean-Luc was mad.
He came up to me and pushed me away.
I let go of Mackenzie's fur and Jean-Luc pushed him. Hard.
Mackenzie tripped and fell backwards.

*BANG!*

Mackenzie fell out of the window behind him.
The glass shattered, spades of it flying everywhere. One got in my arm and started bleeding. But I didn't care.
"MACKENZIE!" I screamed.
I tried to grab his hand, but it was too late. He hit the ground of a 20 foot drop.
Jean-Luc covered his mouth when he realized what he had done.
"Oops." He said.
"Oops?" I snapped at him. "Oops? You just killed Kenzie! And all you say is oops?"
Judo and Lucky came rushing to us.
"What happened? We heard a bang, then a scream-" Judo said.
"Jean-Luc just killed Kenzie!" I said. I think I might've overreacted, but it's Mackenzie! I ran down the stairs and over to Mackenzie.
Tears rolled down my face as Judo called the ambulance.
"Kenzie? Are you okay?" I said and grabbed his hand.
Mackenzie's eyes were still closed, but he smiled slightly.
"I'm fine-" he said slowly. He laid his head back on the ground, and went unconscious. Blood was around him, and glass was on his fur.
I brushed the glass of his fur, and started to sob.
Then I heard the ambulance siren, and they came and put him in the ambulance.
A police officer came up to me and asked me some questions.
"So, how'd this happen?" She asked.
"Um, my friend 'accidentally' pushed him out of the window." I answered, and wiped the tears off my face.
"Why did your friend push him out the window?"
"Because they were fighting…"
"Why were they fighting?"
"I don't know."
"Can I talk to this friend of yours?"
"Uh-huh."
I went back into the school and told Jean-Luc the police officer wanted to see him.
The officer asked him questions and he answered.
They called Mackenzie's and Jean-Luc's parents.
I was quietly sobbing in my arms on a bench when Judo came up to me.
"Hi Bluey." She said, and sat down next to me.
"Hi Judo…" I said.
Judo sighed. "It was my fault that it happened…"
"No it's not. It's my fault. I'm the one who decided to do it."
"Yeah, but it was my idea. It would've never happened if I didn't come up with it."
"You guys need to stop arguing about this." Indy said. And sat down next to Judo. "Sorry about that, Bluey."
"Why are you sorry?" I asked Indy. "You have nothing to do with it."
She shrugs. "I'm going to meet up with Rusty in the park. Wanna come?" Indy said.
"Sure!" Judo said.
"I mean… I guess." I said.
We sat up and Indy walked to the park. I trailed behind her.
Judo said that she was going to find Lucky to come.
When we got there, Chloe, Rusty, Coco, Winnie and Honey were already there.
Chloe ran up to me.
"Hi Bluey, are you okay?" Chloe asked me.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I replied. I was more focused on Coco. She was crying.
"Hey Coco, are you okay?" I asked her when I walked up to her.
"Does it look like I'm okay?" Coco snapped at me.
I took a step back. I never heard her snap at anyone before.
I didn't want to bother her, so I went back over to Chloe.
"So you know what's wrong with Coco?" I asked.
"Mmm no. I asked, but she snapped at me." Chloe responded.
"That's what happened to me." I said.
"Hey guys," Honey says and tapped Chloe and I on the shoulder. "Look how cute Rusty and Indy are together." 
Winnie was slightly chuckling.
"Why is it funny Winnie?" I asked.
"I'm laughing but like in a good way." She replied, still looking at them.
Rusty and Indy were on the swings, laughing.
"They are cute together." Chloe said, and smirked.
Just then Honey, Chloe and Winnie started whispering and kept pointing at me.
"What are you guys whispering about me?" I asked them.
"Nothing…" Chloe said, and they all giggled.
I was slightly mad. I don't like when other dogs whisper about me.
Just then, Judo and Lucky came up to us.
"Hey guys!" Lucky says, trying to lighten the mood.
"Hey Lucky." I said.
"Guys! Guys! Indy and Rusty and leaving!" Chloe said.
"So?" Judo, Lucky, and I ask.
"Let's go follow them!"
"Yeah!" Winnie and Honey said.
"I mean, won't it be rude? They obviously want to be alone…" I pointed out.
"What-ever. Come on!" Chloe, Honey, and Winnie runoff.
"Those girls." Lucky said and face palmed.
"Getting into trouble." Judo said.

Indy POV

After the park, Rusty asked me if I wanted to come to his place. I agreed.
"Okay, let's go." Rusty grabbed my paw and we walked to his house.
After a few minutes, I decided to break the ice.
"Soooo. How long have you liked me?" I asked.
Rusty looked up in the sky that was starting to set.
"I think in middle school. When we worked on the class project." He replied.
We got to his place. And decided to watch a show.
We were fighting about who gets to choose the show.
Eventually, we ended up wrestling over the remote.
We both flipped onto the couch with Rusty right on top of me. His face was so close to mine. We both blushed.
I didn't notice we were kissing. I was in a state of shock.
We pulled apart and we picked a movie to watch.
As we were watching it, I laid my head on Rusty's shoulder and slowly started to fall asleep…

The next morning…

I yawned and my eyes fluttered open. I looked around and my surroundings were different.
"Morning Sleeping Beauty, have a nice slumber?" A voice said. It was Rusty's.
I then realized I was still at Rusty's place.
"Hiya, Rusty. I said, and sat up.
"Anyways, what time is it?" I asked.
"Uh, 6:30 in the morning." Rusty said, squinting at his clock.
"And today's Saturday, correct?"
"Yep."
I looked around a bit. "Do you even have parents?" I asked.
"My dad is on the base right now, and my mum, she's on a business trip for a couple more days." He replied.
"And your mum trusted you to stay here, all by yourself?"
"I'm a 15 year-old dog. I think I'm responsible enough."
"My parents won't let me stay home alone until I'm 20."
Rusty laughs. "What time do you have to be home?"
"Hm. About 7:00. That's when my parents wake up." I said.
"Okay. Wanna go look at the sunrise?"
"Sure!" I replied.
We got outside.
"We can get on the roof." Rusty said.
"How?" I said nervously.
"Follow me."
Rusty led me to a broken gutter and climbed up it and onto the roof.
"C'mon I'll help you." Rusty said and held out his hand.
I grabbed it and he pulled me up. We crawled over to the top and sat down.
"Wow. This is amazing." I said, and looked at Rusty.
"It is." Rusty said, and looked at me. We kissed again, and the sun rose over our heads.

Rusty POV

When Indy went home, Jack called me.
"Hey Jack, what's up?" I said when I picked up my phone.
"Come to the park. Right now." Jack said. He sounded mad.
"Uh, why? Is something wrong-"
But Jack hung up.
What the heck was wrong with him?
I headed to the park, to see Jack already there, looking very mad.
"Hey dude. Why are you mad? Are you-"
"No, I'm not okay!" Jack interrupted me. "My best friend ditched me for a stupid girl!"
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"Ugh, do you not get anything? We were supposed to meet up yesterday at the skatepark, but you decided to 'hang out' with a stupid girl!"
Now I got what he was saying.
"Indy is not stupid. And I'm sorry I missed it." I said back, and rolled my eyes.
"You don't sound sorry."
I rolled my eyes again.
"Why would I be sorry? We hang out all the time! Can't I hang out with a girl for once? It's like you don't even care about me!" I said.
Jack looked a little shocked after that.
"Oh R-Rusty, I didn't mean it like t-that." Jack said.
"Well it sounded like it did. I'm taking a break from our friendship." And with that I walked away.
"No Rusty! I'm sorry!" Jack said and ran after me.
But I ignored him and went home.
The last couple of days were going so well, now it's all falling apart.

Hiya people!

Dunno why I did this chapter like this. Just did.

I wanted a twist of something cause I feel like the book is getting a bit boring. But even I don't even know if this is that big of a twist.

Dunno why Jean-Luc pushed Mackenzie out the window. Also don't know why Jean-Luc got so mad.

I don't know a lot of things from this chapter and why I did it.

Btw, I'm so sorry that I posted so late! I was making the book cover and completely forgot. I hope you liked this. Something about this I didn't like.
