8) Daily CheckUps 🌎🔞

At the driveway, Luffy start to whine and said, "Shanks! Do I have to go to the doctors?" Shanks just laugh and said, "Yes, Luffy. Beside it is just a checkup, it won't hurt you. I promise. You are an adult now." Luffy whine again and look to the side as he look at the window. "I'm only 20 year old..." Shanks chuckle and focus on driving as he head to the city to the hospital for Luffy's daily checkups since Luffy is now a young adult.

Luffy look back at the hospital that he would always go to but hate it since he assume them as weirdos. He had a doctor when he was a kid and really trust her since she was sweet but now he can't have her since he is not a kid anymore and has a male doctor. Shanks parked his car and walk out as he wait for Luffy to get out which Luffy did. He put his hands on his red sweater pocket and adjust his backpack since he finish classes in college. The two walk inside and shanks get a lot of attention from the nurses here but he didn't mind while Luffy stay close to his adopted father.

Shanks got to the front desk and tell them about Luffy's daily checkups as the elder lady tell them to go upstairs and take a right. Shanks thank her and walk over to there as Luffy just bow his head to her to respect her. He look around to see all ages here to deal with doctors as he just sigh. He rub his arms a bit and didn't know how to feel about this doctor he has since shanks chose one, out of random. He don't know if he will be comfortable with a male doctor since he is used with female doctor.

Once they got to the area, shanks use Luffy's medical card to get in him to notify the doctor that he is here as the man in front told Luffy to take a seat and do a form. Luffy nod and take the clipboard as he sit down to read this which confused him a bit. Asking questions if he have sex, drink alcohol, smoke, mental condition, allergic, and etc. Luffy groan and grab a pen from his bag as he does the clipboard honestly while he wait for his doctor. It took a few minutes until a woman in black hair and blue eyes come out in her uniform, "Monkey D Luffy."

Luffy lift his head and stand up as he head off before looking back at Shanks. Shanks smile and wave bye to Luffy as he will wait for him once it is all done. Luffy gulp and enter in as the door close behind while the woman grab the clipboard. "How are you doing, Luffy?" Luffy stand there innocently and said, "O-okay. Just a bit nervous for my doctor." The woman just chuckle and said, "Don't worry, he is a big hearty once you get to know him. Take a seat so I can check for blood pressure." Luffy nod and sit down as he listen to what the nurse says.

As he wait for it to beep, he notice a pair of eyes look at him from a distance before he blink a few times to see it was nothing. He was lost and didn't know what was that before the thing on his arm beep as the nurse come back to take it out. "Mhm you seem so healthy. Good for you. Hehe." Luffy smile back as he feel a little better before she lead him to the room where the doctor will meet him. Luffy gulp and follow her as he check this place out before entering in the room. She said, "Okay luckily he just check in from his break. He will be with you in few. And trust me, he may look scary but he wont hurt you."

She ruffle Luffy's hair as Luffy just nod before he watch her go. The door close behind and Luffy just sit on the weird chair as he didn't know what to do but waited. Luffy yawn a bit and check his phone to see how his friends are doing before seeing that they are at an hot pot eating. He groan and hate Shanks for scheduling the appointment since he can't join with his friends until this is over. He mumble a bit and look at the room as he find it normal than the one he loved as a kid but it is fine.

Suddenly the door knob turn which make Luffy froze in place and see who is this doctor. A man with black short hair, grey eyes, a short length beard like Shanks has, got glasses, wearing a white coat and black tee, skinny jean, boots, and his tattoos shown on his hands and arms. Luffy was stunned by how interesting this doctor might actually be as the man look at Luffy while he said with that smooth deep voice, "Luffy-ya, hello. I'm your adult doctor, Trafalgar Law or Doctor Law. Pleasure to meet you." He didn't smile much as he walk over to the computer but it didn't stop Luffy to admire this man while he notice this man got earrings on each ears.
