7) Still Feel You 🌎🎀🩸

Trafalgar Law POV:

I got home from work as I stretch a bit and put my bag away. I look around and said, "Baby! I'm home." I closed the door and walk inside in my home that I shared with my boyfriend, Monkey D Luffy. He is a college student with his idiot friends but those friends actually got him to set up with me and god I hate to admit how perfect we work well thanks to them. He and I share my place since it is closer to his campus and he wanted to move out from his brothers' place.

But beside that, I got to the kitchen and spot Luffy on the floor with a knife on the counter but also some blood on the floor. Oh no... "Luffy!" I rush inside and get down to touch his shoulder which he make a sudden jolt. "T-Traffy...! Is that you?!" I froze as I hold Luffy close to me to see his eyes was accidentally cut and got a piece of the knife in there. I was shocked and grab my phone to call 911 as I said, "Yes it is me. I got you...don't worry I'm calling help."

Luffy's hand got to my chest and touch it as he said, "I-I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I was only trying to make food...and my hand slipped a bit...am I going to be okay?" He cry in blood and grip onto my chest as I get worried. I tell the ambulance my address after giving some information to them before I examine it since I'm a med student. Shit it look so bad...but I know how strong he is. I smile and comfort him as I said, "Yes you are going to be okay. I'll make sure of it."

I lean down to kiss his lips as Luffy blush but he hiss softly trying to blink. "Don't move your eyes. The ambulance are coming okay?" Luffy nod and hold onto me before hearing the door knock. I gasp softly and gently carry him in my arms before opening the door. They examine Luffy eyes and seem unsure to do anything right here so they give him some amnesia to ease the pain before resting him on the bed inside of the car. I follow him and make sure he is alright as I make sure he know I'm here with him.

During the car ride, I kiss his head and keep comforting him as I tell the nurses on what to do with his eyes to make sure he is safe while I make sure nothing bad will happen to my baby. We soon got to the hospital and the doctors bring him inside as I follow behind not caring what they say. Luffy keep calling out for me and want me there no matter what as I said, "I'll be here. They will take care of you. Please be strong." Luffy cry more blood as he want me there before the door closed.

It has been a few hours since it has happened and I got text from his friends and brothers about what happened to Luffy. I didn't answer them as I don't want them to worried just yet as I am the most worried for Luffy. I breathe calmly and look at the time waiting for the doctor as my hand shake a bit. I then heard my name being called so I look up to see the doctor which got me up and I head to them. "So! How is Luffy?!" I gulp as the doctor gesture me to relax before they said, "he is doing quite well with the process but. He has been...well. Not permanently blind but he won't be able to see for 2 or 3 months."

I froze and shouted, "WHAT!? WHY!? HE SHOULD BE OKAY ACCORDING TO MY KNOWLEDGE AS A MED STUDENT!" Everyone look at me and the doctor as the doctor hold their hands up. "I understand you are but the knife piece was a bit deep. It will only be an 2-3 months long." I curse at them and huff quietly as I said, "May I see him?" The doctor gulp and nod as I walk past him to go see Luffy. I got to the room and see him with bandages on his eyes as he seem to rest a bit. I walk inside and Luffy's head shift a bit as he said, "L-Law..."

I smile happily and walk over to his side as I said, "Yes I'm here. How are you?" I brush his hair and he lean his head on my hand as he said, "I heard what they say. I won't be able to see..." I stop brushing his hair and I sigh softly as I lean down to his lips. "Don't worry I won't let them do this. I'll find a way to fix it. I promise." Luffy's smile shine on me as he reach for my hand as he said, "Thank you...you are still the best person~." I smile and lean down to kiss his lips as he grip on my shirt.

I pull away and said, "We are getting out of here." Luffy seem shocked by his body language and said, "Out of here? Are you sure?" I think about it and touch his needle on his blood before slowly taking it off. "You will be fine. Remember, I'm also a doctor." Luffy giggle and nod as his hands reach for me. I grab him in my arms before seeing the nurse noticing us as I said, "Time to go."

I carry him close into my arms as he hang on while I pull his hat down over his face once the doctor get inside. I glance at him and said, "Time to fix your idiotic mistakes. See ya." I summon my sword before held my hand out. "Room!" A blue sphere come out as the doctor was shocked by this before held my hand up. "Shambles." I manage to teleport back to our place as I smile at their face.

I carry Luffy to my room to do this my way as I was careful with his bandages to see the mistakes. I sigh and shook my head as I said, "I'll be careful. I'll give you some strong amnesia so I can do this." Luffy nod and face me not knowing he is as he try to find me with his hand. "Do whatever you can, baby." I smile and take his hand as I got my medical tools with me. "I will. And remember, if it don't work, I will feel you..."

I cups his cheek as he nuzzle close while he kiss my hand. "Yes baby." I nod and put the amnesia in his vein of his face before saying one last thing, "I love you~."
