Chapter 9 Part 2

I ran to her and tried to pull her hand from her bloody face. She cried as I did, but she let me pull it away. When I did I noticed she was missing her eye. Her big beautiful eyes became empty as the years progressed. She learned to never disobey Damien in fear that he would kill her which was wise.

I was so scared for her and myself even since it was the first time he ever threatened us. Although no matter what I promised to protect her and future slaves at the cost of my own life.

END OF FLASHBACK

I just continued to walk to the dining room to join my brother and Daniels for breakfast. I gave Damien little discreet flipoffs when he wasn't looking.

"Asshole." I muttered.

Knowing he heard me say that he replied with a laugh.

"Something wrong? C'mon you two never argue. Ever." Daniels said.

I gave him a smile and let him read my mind. He gave a smirk.

"So the new girl is starting trouble eh? So typical." He said while sighing.

All Damien said was more than you even know.

*Claire's PoV *

When I pushed Mitri out of the room I instantly ran into the bathroom. I grabbed a simple black t-shirt and light blue jeans since I didn't get the chance to ask my /master/. I hoped he wouldn't yell at me for my choice of clothes. He was so anal and the fact that I was treated like a damn child got on my nerves.

I took my fustration out on my shower trying to power scrub all my worries and fear away. The shower took me ten minutes at most and I shoved my clothes on quickly rushing down the steps.

I hurried past Damien running towards the kitchen. I didn't want to face him. When I slowed my pace in the kitchen the girls looked at me.

"What happened last night Claire?" Gauri asked wearily.

I looked down at my scratches.

"Damien did it." Mina replied quietly.

I nodded. They all knew what would happen yesterday so why bother ask now?

"Don't be scared. Damien has hurt us all."

I looked at Willow.

"How?!"

I really wanted to know but a part of me didn't. Willow just sighed then began.

"Master Damien feeds from me."

She grabbed the neck of her long sleeve shirt and pulled down so I could see her neck. There were bite marks all over her neck, old and new. Then she showed me her arms and stomach. It was the same.

'Why her stomach? Did he use her for sex and then bite her?'

I just shook my head. That was the part I didn't want to know so I didn't ask.Next Guari gave a sad smile.

"Master Damien uses us for food as well," She said pointing to Aaron, "He also makes us do his royal paperwork."

Wow I guess they had it easy compared to everyone,but knowing Damien it was anything but easy.I looked at Mina waiting for a response. She didn't say anything.

"Damien physically abuses her. Y'know... takes his stress out on her." Aaron said with tearful eyes.

Mina nodded. I guess she was shy or just scared out of her mind. She really wasn't that talkative to me at least.

Before we could talk anymore Daniels started signaling us to bring the food out.

*Damien's PoV *

When I saw girls bring my breakfast I was finally starting to relax. I could see Claire from the corner of my eye placing food in front Daniels. Not once did she come to me. I mentally laughed. Good idea because I was still pissed at her. When Guari placed my breakfast I let out a low growl and she quickly scurried away. I didn't want /this/ for breakfast I wanted Claire.

I watched as Daniels and Mitri slowly ate. They looked up when I spoke to them.

"When you two are finished take the girls to their rooms. I want to speak to Claire alone."

Mitri raised an eyebrow.

"I don't think you should."

"Dammit Mitri. I won't hurt her unless she pisses me off."

Mirti just looked at me. I knew /that/ look. He wanted me to promise him. He could act like such a child sometimes.

"Don't give me that look. I promise I won't hurt her."

He smiled and without another word he dragged Daniels and the girls out. It was quiet until I saw Claire peek her head through the kitchen door. When she saw me she tried to close the door,but I called to her.

"Oh sweartheart. Please come here." I said in a sing song voice.

She had no idea what was coming her way.
