Hungary came and went quicker than millie would have liked. she came p5 which she was happy with. her car wasn't a constant podium sitter, but she had been very consistent in the points, which she was proud of for her first season. there was nothing particularly special about being in hungary, but she still didn't want it to pass as quick as it felt. why? because the next race was spa. she loved spa but hates racing there after 2021. she doesn't think it's safe, and has seen lives lost there, including Dilano the year before.
Anyway, she flew out to spa with Jack, them both talking about anything and everything on the way there, to distract them both from the weekend to come. Jack hated racing at this place just as much as millie, but he was always more worried about millie. She was always quiet in the paddock at spa, which was a change due to her bubbly personality that most people loved. she had been different during the past few months, and jack knew why. Lando and Ollie were so important to her, and jack would do anything to help her feel better.
"mil smile" she looked at him, as they were sat facing each other. "jack no!" she said giggling "no i won't take that as an answer, smile right now" he said also chuckling she rolled her eyes before posing a bit and smiling at him
he laughed at the photos, choosing one where she was laughing and not just smiling for the camera. she looked genuinely happy, something he hadn't seen in a while.
"can i post this?" he said turning his phone she rolled her eyes but smiled "go on then"
