heading into aston for her first official day was i nerve wracking but she wasn't about to let that put her down. She filled herself with confidence as she headed to the front desk. It was the same lady there from last time she visited. "hello millie. i see your back" "indeed i am" she smiled at the lady "same office as last time, lance is already in there. would you like me to take you?" "no it's ok thankyou, i remember the way" "brilliant. best of luck millie" "thankyou umm. i'm so sorry i didn't get your name" the lady smiled "i'm charlotte" they shook hands as millie said goodbye and headed towards mike cracks office.
When she arrived she knocked on the door and was called in, there was Mike say behind his desk and Lance already sat down. She had never properly met lance before, having only acknowledged each other briefly around the paddock or when she would visit fernando in the aston martin garage. he had also been one of the drivers to wait in the pitlane to congratulate her when she won her championship. he stood up and shook her hand "it's nice to officially meet you millie. i know we've acknowledged each other and all but i don't think we've ever properly met" he said "i was thinking that, lovely to properly meet you too lance" They both took a seat as mike started to speak to them about the next few weeks before bahrain. He said if they could, he would like them to fit their team training in to have atleast one session a week together, to help them bond as the relationship between drivers was incredibly important. lance was 24 and she was 18. 6 years meant nothing between teammates. as long as they weren't going to ram each other off track then the team would have no issues with the drivers, and they would have no issues with each other.
"right so, i was thinking today we should do some photoshoots and get you both in your new suits for the year. you will both be able to see the car in the next couple of days, ahead of the car reveal at weekend. sounds good?" mike asked lance and millie looked at each other and then back at mike, nodding their heads in unison. "perfect" mike said "i'm sure we are going to have a brilliant year" he stood up and shook both of their hands before they followed him out of the room. ——————————————————————
They got along better than imagined. After 5 minutes they were messing around on the photoshoot set, playing with the props and getting too close to the camera. At one point both of them leaned into the camera and the camera man took the opportunity to snap a photo of them messing around. The team loved the chemistry and could tell the duo would work out.

Ollie was due to fly home that day. During the winter break, ollie and millie had found a small apartment in brackley, which was between the haas factory and aston martins factory, and. decided to get it, along with arthur. It seemed like the smartest ideas to get them going and still allowing them to see each other all the time. Ollie had sold his place in italy, due to not needing to go over there a lot anymore as he was no longer part of prema of the ferrari driver academy.
Arriving back at the apartment, millie unlocked the door, expecting to arrive to an empty apartment, get changed and lie on the couch watching a film, as ollie and arthur weren't due back until late that evening, however as she walked in she saw something she never would have expected. "what the actual fuck" she said as she dropped her bag. Infront of her was a massive blanket and pillow fort where the couch usually would be. Ollie and Arthur's heads popped out, Ollie's with a blue haas cap on with a number 8 on and Arthur with a red one with a number 12. "oh hey love" ollie crawled out and came over to give her a quick kiss. "what on earth is going on" she asked him "we were bored and decided to build a fort" "are you guys 18 and 22 or 5?" she asked with a giggle "that is a good question to be fair" arthur said from inside the fort "well since it's up, fancy a takeaway and a movie?" ollie asked taking her hands in his she giggled rolling her eyes "how can i say no to that face" she said bringing his lips to hers "okay seriously if you two are gonna be all lovely dovey and stuff while i'm here then i'm moving out" arthur said making fake gagging noises "oh but when carla is here then you guys can be like that hmm?" millie quipped back arthur stayed silent, causing them all to laugh again.
