I think I'm slightly depressed.
But also reasonably determined,
And they both start with a D
So they go hand in hand in my mind.
Day two has gone by.
When I said hello to everyone,
Your back was turned.
Probably intentionally.
But
I had the courage
To look at you more.
That's a step in my mind.
While I gather my thoughts
And feelings and courage properly,
I'm going to give you all the time you need.
But one day you have to know.
I want you to know,
What I've written here.
The truths,
the thoughts,
Everything.
And after you do know,
You can throw me away
Like I deserve.
