Another Way Out. Regulus x reader

Part 2.18

"That's crazy" regulus sighs before plopping onto his bed.

I feel the bed frame shake and tense up a bit.

"So where did you go last night, i hear hung out with you know who all night. I mean literally all night" Evan said with a sly smirk in his voice.

" yeah, I hung out with Del, her boyfriend, and her" regulus sighed.

"And?" Evan shouted.

"And nothing, she's my friend. We hung out." Ouch.

"Oh don't give me that load of griffin shit, just the other day you were going on and on abo-" Evan pauses.

"No way" Evan laughs.

I watch evans footsteps as he walks to the other side of the room.

"You gonna tell her" Evan chuckles as he hooks my skirt onto his shoe and flings it onto reguluses bed.

Regulus says nothing but based on the movement of the bed I could tell he was hand gesturing to Evan.

"Alright we'll I'm going to head down to breakfast, since nobody is in the common room right now. Bye." Evan says before leaving the room humming a tune that sounds a bit like that one wedding song.

Regulus sighed.

"He should be gone by now" he groans before dangling my skirt off the bed for me to grab.

" thanks" I sigh, grabbing my skirt.

That was a disaster.

The walk of shame is the best way to describe walking through the halls, barefooted, holding your clothing and wearing someone else's.

Luckily only two hufflepuff students saw me so I didn't have to get super humiliated.

As I walked up the steps to the common room I got this feeling like something bad was about to happen.

"Where have you been, you should have come back from the party hours ago. And what are you wearing"

Here we go, mother lily here to make my hangover worse.

"It's a long story, one that I'm too hungover to explain" I groan.

"Well you better start explaining or I will go to Sirius and tell him all about your little cr-"

"Jesus Christ lily, not in the common room. Someone could here you" I whisper yell.

Lily just taps her foot.

" fine. I got a bit drunk so regulus let me stay with him. And no we didn't have sex" I mumble.

"Oh okay, next time just don't drink as much. So.... Did you guys cuddle" lily squealed.

"Yeah, but honestly I dont remember much. It's all such a blur" I groan.

"Maybe you sucked him off and you don't remember" lily snickered.

"Oh piss off" I shove her.

"So I'm guessing this is his shirt then" lily giggled.

I nod my head.

"That's so cute. You guys should start dating already. I want to be there for the wedding"

"Hold your horses. We aren't exactly there. And we really are just friends.... I think, I don't know" I sigh.

"What do you mean?" Lily asks.

"Well, I don't want to be delusional but.... Let's say you hear his friend say ' you gonna tell her' and you are pretty sure it's about you. Does that mean, like, tell me he likes me?" I ask.

Lilys face lights up. "No fucking way! He likes you!!"

"So I'm not delusional" I smile.

"No, he definitely likes you" lily smiles.

Hearing that makes me so happy I could almost cry.

"Well it doesn't matter. I can't date him because of Sirius" I sigh, my smile fading.

Lily looked at me for a second, pondering.

"I mean, why not keep it a secret." Lily suggested.

I mean that isn't a bad idea. If things don't work out then Sirius never has to know. And if things do work out then so much time will have passed that their relationship might be fixed by then.

"Well if regulus ever admits anything to me then maybe I will do that."

"Now if you'll excuse me I need to get that hangover stuff because I currently feel like something is repeatedly stabbing me in the face" I laugh

So finals started today which means school is ending. So I will have more time to do this.
Hopefully I will finish the whole story by the end of the summer but who knows.
Also prom is super fucking boring for no reason.
