Another Way Out. Regulus x reader

Part 2.15

He can tell that I am still nervous so he turns towards me and moves me to be looking at him.

"Would you believe me if I told you I am nervous too" he smiles.

"Uh no" I smile a bit back at him.

"Well I am, I am so nervous in fact that I think I need to find a way to calm down. Would you happen to know any ways?" He asks, knowing full well what he means I mutter.

"I'm I returning the favor from over by the tree" I say with a smirk.

"Yes, I think we both need to calm down today" regulus says before moving his hands to my hips.

I move mine to his neck and I pull him in for a kiss.

I think out of all the kisses I have had with him this one is the best one so far.

It's not about lust or anything like that, it's just a great kiss.

As we snake our tongues into the equation I begin to forget what we are worried about, where we are, and why we are here.

A kiss that probably lasted for fifteen minutes felt like it went on for only one.

When we pulled apart to take a breath I heard the sound of people walking on gravel.

The British are coming!!!

I jumped away from regulus, catching him off guard. He was about to ask why I did when the whole slytherin team walked in.

Regulus coughed a bit to hide him wiping his mouth as I did the same.

Very inconspicuous of us, I know.

"Well if it isn't little miss sunshine. What are you doing here so early" the captain says.

"Just getting ready to kick your sorry little serpent asses" I spit.

"Oh someones claws, if I were you I would be careful. We don't want a repeat of last year now do we" says the slytherin who I'm assuming caused the accident last year.

"Oh piss off" I hissed before I walked off.

I don't care how much I like regulus. I'm kicking their sorry little asses today. If not on the field then off the field will do.

Four bloody hours and nobody has made a single point. The snitch is nowhere in sight and this game is being to piss everyone off.

I have blocked every single quaffle and so has the other keeper.

At the five hour mark gryffindor makes the first points.

"Finally, I was being to fall asleep over here. 10 points for gryffindor" Remus shouted over the speakers.

The game continues to be a back and forth battle between the two houses when I see a beater from slytherin hit a bludger in my direction.

I see it coming towards me and do a sloth roll to avoid it.

It goes right past me and hits one of the slytherin girls right off her broom.

She begins plummeting through the air and nobody is going to save her.

I watch as the slytherin chaser winds up to make a point and I make a choice.

I dive down and catch the girl right before she hits the ground.

"Seriously y/n she would have been-ow- sorry mam, ten points for slytherin" Remus announces earning an elbow from mcgonagall.

I bring the girl back up to her broom and help her back on. "Thank you, you saved my life." She stuttered obviously still in shock.

"No problem" I smile before heading back to my post.

I look around and I see regulus begging diving for... no...

"Phoebe! Snitch!" I yell to put seeker who gets the hint and begins to dive for the snitch too.

"And they are diving for the snitch, which seeker will get it. Oh that looked painful." Remus announced.

Phoebe had elbowed regulus in the balls causing him to falter and let phoebe grab the snitch.

"And gryffindor wins the quidditch cup" Remus shouted causing the speakers to squeak.

My whole team got together to cheer but I had a different agenda.

I ran over to regulus who was laying down on the grass.

"She played dirty. That wasn't right." I reached my hand down to help him up.

He looked up at me and sighed.

"No, it wasn't right. But it was smart, I'll give her that" he smiled before accepting my hand up.

I hoisted him up and asked him a question "do you hate me"

Regulus let out a laugh and messed up may hair with his hand "of course not, now go get changed and meet me in the stands in 20 okay"

I nodded my head and went back to my team to rejoice in our victory.

"So why do we need to meet in the bleachers" I ask regulus after plopping down into a seat.

"Well I wanted to ask you something" he chuckled.

My heart skipped a beat, hoping he was saying what I wanted him to say.

"Well I'm here, what did you want to ask" I responded 'coolly'.

"Well slytherin is having a 'we hate gryffindor' party and I was wondering if you wanted to come"

I look out over the pitch, it looks so high up here and the view is beautiful.

"I would love too, but I'm pretty sure they would never let me in" I sigh.

Regulus looks me in the eyes and smiles "yes they will, just bring drugs"
