A groggy Naruto opened the door. He looked tried and had a cup of ramen in his hand.
Naruto: <mumbling> 'Ello...?
Sakura: Ramen already, Naruto? You just woke up!
Naruto: Sakura, we're off on a break from missions right now, remember? Why are you guys here? And why so early?
(Y/N): <sweat dropping> It's past noon...
Sakura: Never mind that. Just wash up and change, okay? We'll wait right here.
Naruto: Wait... Is this a date?!

(Y/N): <face palming> Lady Tsunade has summoned us.

The three stood in Tsunade's office. Jiraiya was next to her.
Tsunade: You're late! What took you so long?!
Jiraiya: Now, now, Tsunade...
Sakura: P-Please forgive us... Naruto was eating lunch for breakfast...

Tsunade: What are you talking about?
Naruto noticed Jiraiya and grinned.
Naruto: Hey! Pervy Sage!
Jiraiya: Long time no see, Naruto!
(Y/N): So why did you call us here?
Tsunade had a serious look on her face, as if she was trying to find the right words to say.
Tsunade: We've been seeing some intel floating around multiple channels. We need to talk about it.
Sakura: Intel?
Naruto: What? What is it?
Jiraiya had a serious look on his face.
Tsunade: Orochimaru is dead. And it seems Sasuke Uchiha killed him.
All three of the teenagers' eyes widened in shock.
Naruto: Seriously?! For real...?
Jiraiya: There's no mistake... I heard it from a trustworthy source.
(Y/N): So Sasuke was telling me the truth when he said that to me...
Sakura: <smiling> Then that means...
Naruto: <grinning> Woo-hoo!!! I knew Orochimaru couldn't break him! Then Sasuke's coming back to Konoha, right?!
Tsunade and Jiraiya looked at each other.
Jiraiya: Unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way...
(Y/N): No, he's not.
Sakura and Naruto stared at him, shocked.
Sakura: What do you mean?
Naruto: Why not?! Orochimaru's gone, so why wouldn't he come home?
