Stood out front the Hastings was a face she hadn't seen in a very long time leaning against the brick wall, a cigarette in hand. "Hey, stranger," Genevieve called out, her voice carrying a mix of curiosity and warmth. The words caught in the air, reaching the person who turned to look at her. As the figure stepped closer into the light, the features became clearer. A smile spread across their face, a mixture of surprise and genuine delight dancing in their eyes. It was Wren Kingston, a face she hadn't encountered in ages. Their eyes locked for a moment, a flood of memories rushing back. Genevieve could hardly believe her eyes, seeing Wren standing there, just as she remembered him. "Genevieve," Wren exclaimed, his voice holding a mixture of surprise and happiness.

The unexpected reunion sparked a myriad of emotions within Genevieve. She couldn't help but smile back at Wren. The cigarette smoke lingered in the air as their gazes remained locked, a flood of unspoken words passing between them. "Long time no see," Genevieve finally said, her voice carrying a hint of nostalgia. Wren chuckled softly, a mixture of emotions playing in his eyes. "You have no idea." The conversation hung in the air, both of them seemingly unsure where to go from there.

"How have you been?" Genevieve asked, breaking the silence that had settled between them. Wren's lips curved into a small smile, a mixture of warmth and nostalgia in his eyes. "Good, good. I'm engaged now. After you left I reconnected with Melissa and we have been together since." Genevieve's eyebrows lifted slightly, surprise flickering across her features. Wren had originally been dating Melissa Hastings years ago but broke up with her once they started hooking up together. "That's... too bad," she replied, her voice carrying a hint of wistfulness. "We were good together." As they stood there, the weight of their history hung between them.

"Can I get a hit" Genevieve asked motioning to the cigarette in his hand. Wren leaned close and handed it to her. As Genevieve took the cigarette from him, their fingers brushed briefly, sending a subtle shiver down her spine. She brought the cigarette to her lips, inhaling slowly, allowing the smoke to fill her lungs. With a controlled exhale, she tilted her head back slightly, releasing the smoke into the air. The tendrils of smoke mingled with the night breeze, disappearing into the darkness

Wren watched her closely, the silence between them held a sense of intimacy, a connection forged through memories and shared experiences. As the last traces of smoke dissipated, Genevieve lowered the cigarette, a small smile playing on her lips. She met Wren's gaze once again, a mix of emotions passing between them in that fleeting moment. "Thanks," she said softly, Wren nodded, his own smile mirroring hers. "Anytime."

Later in the street

Sirens ring Alton the street stopping in front of the DiLuarentis house. Genevieve heads out the house being meet with flashes of blue and red lights, two agents from the coroner pushing a body in a bag on a stretcher. Genevieve lifts her hand to her mouth in disbelief. Alison was really gone, they just had taken her body away. She spots Spencer stood on the corner of the pavement and goes and stands by her grabbing on to her hand for support.
