chap 7 - jealousy

'GUYS THE VIDEO HAS BANGED' george exclaimed bursting into the room

the boys had all gathered around the computer and began to skim through the comments

'niko wallahi there are a lot of comments shipping you and april' chunkz said

niko angled the computer towards himself and began reading some of the comments more in depth with his brows furrowed

he sat back into the couch and let a small huh escape his lips

'no dad-  the paparazzi have not found my house' april said with a light roll of the eyes 

'well you have to be really careful with these kinds of things' april's dad replied

april let out a small grunt before placing her phone on her shoulder and pressing her ear on it so that she could get the ice cream from her freezer without putting down her phone. 'yes dad im well aware-'

'yes your quite famous on the instas' 

april stopped trying to dig into her frozen solid ice cream for a moment 'dad. please don't call it that

'the grams?'

april winced 'anyway' april said trying to change the subject 'have you heard any word from mark?' april asked. april still hadn't properly spoken to her brother yet and she didn't know why, but she missed him

'yes actually! he came down to visit me the other day. did he not call you? he said he would call you..'

april bit her lip. no he did not call her. she hasn't seen her brother in person for over a year. and here he was in london and hadn't bothered to call or anything

'oh no yeah, he did call it must have just slipped my mind' april lied. she didn't want to disappoint her dad 'look dad i've gotta go my wifi's cutting out again love you!' 

'love you two sweetie' april's dad replied

april hung up and lowered her phone from her ear before staring at it for a few moments. she checked her recent calls just in case. nope nothing. she placed her phone on the counter and picked back up her tub of ice cream

she put the spoon full of ice cream in her mouth and groaned. it wasn't doing the trick, it wasn't making her feel any better. but lucky for april she knew just the place to go too

once april had arrived at the ice cream van niko had shown her, her face instantly lit up. she made her way over to the queue. as soon as she reached the queue she checked her phone for any calls from mark as if he would have rang her in the space it took her to walk from her car

she sighed lightly to herself before tucking her phone into her back pocket. she wasn't really paying attention to the guy in front of her until he started ordering, thats when she heard a familiar voice

her head cocked up and she saw niko a smile threatening to enter her face

'niko!' april exclaimed

the brunette looked around confused as to why his name was called before he saw the girl standing beside him. his heart instantly started hammering. he stared at her wanting to say something, anything but was unable too

'damn i cant believe i saw you here' april spoke smiling up at him

'uh yeah' niko muttered

april tried not to think to deep into nikos dry tone, he's probably just tired. she pushed it aside and tried again to lighten the mood
