Me and charlotte were helping build the wall when murphy walked up to this gun next to us "You think the grounders are gonna sit around, and wait for us to finish the wall?" He said to the boy "Maybe we should let the little girl do the lifting for you" He added referring to Charlotte making me roll my eyes "Don't be a dick murphy" I said and he just glared at me.
"I just need some water, then i'll be fine" The boy murphy was picking on said "Murphy, Get this guy some water" Bellamy said "Hey you got this?" Bellamy asked Charlotte making me furrow my eyebrows.

She thought for a second then went to lift it up but Bellamy stopped her "I'm just kidding" he smiled then picked the tree up with ease.

Me and charlotte went back to building, "What the hell is wrong with you Murphy!" I heard and turned my head towards the commotion "Murphy what the fuck!" I yelled with wide eyes and covered Charlottes eyes not wanting her to see what murphy was doing.
"You wanted a water break" Murphy shrugged "Get back to work" he yelled making me scoff and roll my eyes "Got a problem princess?" Murphy asked walking up to me "Cause I can give you a lot more then a water break" he smirked "Go float yourself Murphy" I told him then turned away.

"Nessa come here!" Octavia yelled from a tent "I'll be right back" I told Charlotte then walked over to Octavia "What's up?" I asked and she pulled into a tent with Clarke, Jasper, and Bellamy already in it "Why do we need her?" Clarke asked making me roll my eyes.
"What the fuck" I whispered noticing fingers and a knife on the table in front of us "Who's are those?" I asked concerned "Wells" Octavia mumbled
I watched as Clarke picked up the knife and inspected it "This knife was made of metal from the dropship "What do you mean?" Jasper spoke up "Who else knows about this?" Bellamy asked "No one we brought it straight here" Octavia told us "It means the grounders didn kill wells, it was one of us" Clarke said answering Jaspers question "So there's a murderer in the camp?" Jasper asked
"There's more than one murder in this camp, this isn't news we need to keep it quiet" Bellamy said Clarke walked towards the exit of the tent but was stopped by bellamy "Get out of my way Bellamy" She said sternly "Be smart about this, look at what we achieved, the wall, the patrols" Bellamy told her "Like it or not, thinking the grounders killed wells is good for us" Bellamy explained "Oh, good for you, you mean" Clarke scoffed "What keep people afraid and they'll work for you? Is that it?" She continued "Yeah that's it" Bellamy replied "But it's good for all of us" He added, "Fear of the grounders is building that wall, and besides what are you gonna do? just walk out there and the killed to step forward? You don't even know whose knife that is"
"Oh really?" she said then showed the knife to Bellamy "J.M. John Murphy" she told him making me shudder "The people have a right to know" she finished then walked out the rest of us followed behind her.
"You son of a bitch!" Clarke yelled while pushing Murphy "What's your problem?" he asked "Recognize this" she said and held up his knife while they continued to go back and forth i went up next to Charlotte and held her hand knowing things were about to get out of hand.
"The grounders killed wells, not me" Murphy said "I know what you did, and you're gonna pay for it" Clarke replied "Bellamy, you really believe this crap?" he asked but Bellamy didn't answer "You threatened to kill him we all heard you!" Clarke yelled "You hated wells" she added "Plenty of people hated wells, his father was the chancellor that locked us up! he yelled back
"Yeah but you the only one who got in a knife fight with him!" she quickly snapped back "Yeah I didn't kill him then either" Murphy defended himself "Tried to kill Jasper too" Octavia added
"Come on this is ridiculous, I don't have to answer to you, I don't have to answer to anyone!" Murphy said with pride ""Come again?" Bellamy said finally speaking up

"Bellamy look i'm telling you man, I didn't do this" Murphy said walking up to Bellamy "They found his fingers on the ground with your knife" Bellamy told him "Is this the kind of society we want?" Clarke spoke up "You say there should be no rules, does that mean we can kill each other without punishment ?" Clarke asked Bellamy "I already told you I didn't kill anyone!" Murphy yelled "I say we float him!" the boy from earlier said and the crowd that had formed started agreeing "That's not what i'm saying" Clarke said
"Why not he deserves to float its justice!" The boy said "Revenge isn't Justice!" Clarke said now defending Murphy "You said it yourself Nessa" The boy said now bringing me into the conversation
"I didn't mean it literally" I said and the crowd stared chanting "Float him!" Murphy went to charge at the boy but was tripped and everyone started kicking Murphy "No get of him!" Clarke screamed and I pulled Charlotte away and stood next to octavia
I watched in horror as they tied him up and hung him on a tree "Bellamy you can stop this!" Clarke said with tears in her eyes "Bellamy you should do it!" The boy said and the crowd started chanting bellamy's name I let go of Charlottes hand and went up to Bellamy "Bell I saw you in the woods with Atom, I knkw you are not a killer!" I told him "Bellamy please dont do this" I begged but he just looked at Murphy then back at me then kicked the barrel out from underneath Murphy.
"Oh my god" I yelled then went up to charlotte and turned her away from the sight of Murphy hanging "Stop ok!" Charlotte yelled and everyone looked at her "Murphy didn't kill wells!" she said then paused "I did!" She finished
