Party pt 1

(You and Jaden are both 17)

"Hey y/n, are you coming to the party Tonight?" My friend Sky says "Um who's party is it?" I asked closing my Locker "It's Lucas's party" she says "Oh idk me and Lucas don't get along too well" I say getting a disgusted face "Oh cmon, just don't talk to him at the party. Please I want you to come and have fun,...plus Jaden Walton is probably gonna be there" she says smirking

I've liked Jaden Walton since 4th grade when he punched Lucas in the face for calling me ugly, and tried comforting me after. We've only ever had like 5 conversations but I'm too scared to ask for his number

"Omg," I say rolling my eyes "cmon there like friends so I bet he'll be there," she says smiling "idk..." I say nervously "Please how do you expect him to like you if you won't talk to him" she says putting her hand on my shoulder "...fine I'll go" I say closing my locker "great I'll pick you up at 8" she says happily "ok, see you later" I say walking away.

JADENS POV

"Jay you coming to the party tonight?" My friend Max says while we pack up our stuff from baseball practice "idk I kinda wanna rest from practice" I say putting my gear in my bag "Bro just take a cold shower and take a Power Nap" Max says laughing "idk I don't feel like partying" I say "well what if I told you y/n was going" he says smirking

I've had a crush on y/n since 2 grade when she let me borrow her blue marker and have only had 5 conversations with her. I've never had the balls to ask her out or ask for her number since she makes me so nervous even when we pass each other in the hallways

"Bro shut up before someone hears you" I say looking around "cmon go with me so you can try and talk to her" he says trying to convince me "Who's party even is it?" I say curious "Lucas's" he says nervously

I punched Lucas in 4 grade when he called y/n ugly just because she won a coloring contest my teacher did and since she was my desk partner I heard and got mad since y/n is the prettiest girl I've ever seen so I got up and punched him and told him to apologize to her and tried comforting her

"Yk I don't get along with Lucas" I say rolling my eyes "Yeah but he's not gonna be the only one there so just avoid him," he says. I thought about it for a second and caved in "Fine I'll go" I say sighing "Dope, and dw we're gonna try and get you y/n's number" he says smiling "ok" I say laughing a bit

Y/N POV

I was stressing out about what I was gonna wear to the party and decided to call Sky since she always has the best outfits

"Hey, girl you almost done?" Sky says over the phone "Um not quite" I say nervously "Why what's up?" She says curious "idk what dress to wear," I say "Oh girl just wear the black one," she says "Don't you think that's too revealing tho??" I say nervously "Girl this is a party put it on" "ok then"

The dress

"Ok I'm Omw" Sky says "ok see you in a bit" I say "See ya" she says waving. I put on some perfume and made sure I didn't forget anything and heard a honk from outside and walked out "damn girl you look hot" she says gasping "Haha thanks you look hot too girl" I say getting in the car laughing

We drove to the party and the house was full of kids from school and loud music and lights

"Ok let's go get some drinks," Sky says "Oh I'm not gonna drink but I'll have water I say walking with her. We were drinking our drink in the kitchen with our other friends when Sky whispers something in my ear "look Jaden's right there," she says causing me to look up, I looked at him and he looked at me making me look away fast

"Go talk to him!" Sky says whispering into my ear "he seems busy talking with his friends" I say lying

JADENS POV
"Bro there's y/n nows your chance go talk to her" Max says whispering into my ear and making me look for her. She was standing in the kitchen drinking with friends wearing a beautiful revealing black dress that showed her curves, god I wish she was mine I thought.

I made eye contact with her but she quickly looked away which made me sad so I looked down, why did I ever think she would ever be with me??
