It's business as usual in downtown Tokyo but in a park, two masked figures stand over a dead woman 

"Another incompatible one?" Black Mask asked

"No good." White Mask said, "This time, after implanting the copy, I tried completely blocking the connection." It said, "However, like with the others, it absorbed Psion from the sample's blood, but then returned instead of remaining stable inside." It said

"Then, even with the right attributes, if they lack strong desires, they can't become like us." Black Mask said

"Are there people who have no desires?" White Mask asked

"Are you saying there's another factor?" Black Mask asked

"We need more samples to get to the bottom of that." White Mask said

The Next Day

At First High, the students discuss the bizarre murders 

"Bizarre murders incidents?" Student 1 asked

"I hear the bodies are drained of blood." Student 2 said

"Are you sure they weren't just anemic?" Student 3 said

Aichi started yawning 

"It's rare to see you yawn, Aniki." Tatsuya said, "I noticed you were out late last night." he said

"Yeah, I was up late last night." Aichi said then Erika popped in front of Aichi

"Hey, Aichi!" Erika said, "Did you see the news yesterday?" she asked sitting on Aichi's table

"News? About the vampire?" Aichi asked

"Yeah. I think it's a professional crime organization of blood traffickers instead of organ traffickers." Erika said

"10% of the victims' blood is gone, right?" Aichi said

"My question is why is only 10% taken?" Tatsuya asked

"Murder probably isn't the intention." Erika said, "They most likely want to keep the victims alive and use them as blood factories." she said

"If that's the case, they wouldn't have abandoned the bodies in town." Aichi said, "Besides, there are no wounds on any of the bodies where blood was taken from." he said

"I see." Erika said, "You're right. It is strange that the bodies have no marks like that." she said

"Maybe an occult being did it like they're saying on TV." Mizuki said

"An occult being..." Aichi said, "Mikihiko..." he said, "Do you think a supernatural creature of some kind of monster is responsible?" he asked

"I don't believe a normal human is behind it, but I can't rule it out." Yoshida said

"Speaking of the occult, that's what magic was considered to be until just 100 years ago." Aichi said

"Aichi, do you think a magician is committing these crimes?" Erika asked
