The people of USNA are readying for Christmas meanwhile above the street, three cloak soldiers are chasing Alfred Fomalhaut, when Alfred jumps down to a lower building but is blocked by Angie Sirius

"Halt!" Angie Sirius said, "Lieutenant Alfred Fomalhaut!" she said, "You know there's no escape." she said as the other soldiers surround Alfred "What the hell happened, Freddy?" she asked, "You were given the first-magnitude code name." she said, "What would make you desert the unit?" she said, "You've also been accused of using your pyrokinesis to commit a series of arson-murders in this town." she said, "You didn't really do that, though, did you?" she asked but Alfred was slient "Freddy!" she said, "Please answer me!" she said, Instead of answering, Alfred attacks Sirius with magic, Sirius block with her cloak then jump away as her cloak burst into flame 'Pyrokinesis!' she thought the soldiers restrain Alfred in a Mirror Cage "Lieutenant Fomalhaut..." she said then aim her gun "By the power vested in me as the Star Commander, under the USNA army Criminal Law Special Provision..." she said, "I hereby sentence you to death!" she said she hesitate a bit but pull the trigger shooting Alfred through the heart killing him

The Next Day, on the 24th of December, 2095 at Einebrise

"Does everyone have a drink?" Aichi asked everyone to shake their head, "This doesn't seem like quite the layout for a farewell party, but they did prepare a cake for us, too." he said, "So, let's have a toast with this phrase." he said as Miyuki handle him a drink "Merry Christmas." he said

"Merry Christmas." Everyone said everyone drank then enjoyed the food

"I still can't believe... that you're going to study abroad in America, Shizuku." Honoka said, "It's like that came out of nowhere." she said

"Sorry. My father wouldn't let me talk about it until the last minute." Shizuku said

"But I'm surprised you're allowed to go." Erika asked, "They usually don't give magicians permission to travel aboard." she said

"For some reason, they're letting me go." Shizuku said, "According to my father, the reason is it's a foreign exchange program." she said

"How long will you be gone? And when do you leave?" Bell asked

"At the beginning of the New Year. It's for three months." Shizuku said

"Oh, three months!" Honoka said

"Where in America are you going?" Mizuki asked as she handled Aichi a piece of cake

"Berkeley." Shizuku said

"Not Boston, then." Mizuki asked

"I guess the East Coast is unstable these days." Shizuku said

"Oh yeah, aren't the humanists making a lot of noise?" Izuku asked, "It's on the news a lot." he said

"First witch hunts, now magician hunts?" Leo asked, "They say history respects, but this is just silly." he said

"So, do you know who's coming here in your place?" Miyuki asked

"I heard she's a girl my age." Shizuku said as she ate the strawberry from her cake
