beomgyu hurriedly opened the door. he let out a sigh he didn't know he was holding in.
"kai, i've never been more happy to see you" he embraced the younger into a hug.
"rude, but okay. i'm happy to see you too, even though we saw each other earlier" hueningkai chuckled and hugged him back.
"please come in and save me from this situation" beomgyu whispered in hueningkai's ear before skipping off to his mom happily.
"you're weird, beomgyu" hueningkai yelled at the boy that was now in the kitchen glaring at yeonjun.

now, it was awkward in the kitchen for both beomgyu and hueningkai. they were left out as yeonjun and his mom bonded with each other kindly.
"is that really the yeonjun that like, harasses you everyday?" hueningkai whispered in beomgyu's ear, not believing what he was currently seeing.
"i know right, i hate that gorilla. to think that my mom already replaced me with him." beomgyu whispered back to hueningkai. he crossed his arms and furrowed his eyebrows.
"i think.. they forgot about us" the younger looked at beomgyu. they exchanged glances. they both turned their backs on yeonjun and beomgyu's mom to start gossiping with each other.
"i really wanna leave this place, i don't care if it's my house. it's actually unbearable in here knowing my worst nightmare is interacting with my mom. she doesn't even know what he's really like" beomgyu quickly rambled into hueningkai's ear as he nodded, indicating he was taking in all the information.
"auntie, i think we should include beomgyu and hueningkai in this too. it's not fair for them that we're doing all that work, is it?" yeonjun smiled, knowing exactly what he was doing.
"fuck, that rat. i didn't wanna do anything except for eat and then run up to my room and lock myself in there" the raven haired boy quietly yapped once more before turning back around, meeting eyes with his mom first, then yeonjun.
"i'm sorry for leaving you out sweethearts, come here and you both can help chop the apples" beomgyu and hueningkai couldn't just deny when they saw her genuine smile. they both sighed and walked over to cut apples.

"mom, is it done yet? i'm kinda hungry" beomgyu tried to ignore the fact that yeonjun had his mom attached to him already. his mom looked at him and thought about for a second.
"it might be? can you check for me honey?" she looked at him expectantly. how could he say no to such a small favor? especially from his mom.
"yeah.. i guess?" he walked away to check up on the pie. thankfully, it looked ready. any longer and he would've died from starvation.
"mom, it's ready" beomgyu walked back into the living room. he let out a slight chuckle when he saw hueningkai sitting uncomfortably next to yeonjun's new persona.
"oh, okay. i'll go take it out for you bunch to eat" she was about to stand up, but yeonjun stopped her.
"auntie, it's okay. me and beomgyu can do it for you. just rest" yeonjun smiled and took beomgyu back into the kitchen.
"wait--" beomgyu tried to protest, but there was no use.
"isn't beomgyu's friend so sweet? you guys are really some of beomgyu's best friends" she turned to hueningkai and smiled.
"uhmm.. yeah.."

"did you really have to drag me in here? couldn't you have done it yourself?" beomgyu groaned when he was finally in the kitchen.
"yeah, and stop being bratty. do you want to eat or not?" yeonjun's kind personality was gone within a snap. now, this was the yeonjun he knew.
"this my house??" beomgyu said, confused by what he even tried to get at with that question.
yeonjun rolled his eyes and told beomgyu to take the pan out. the younger glared at him shortly before quickly taking it out.
beomgyu muttered a string of ows and curses as he put the pan on the counter. yeonjun watched him in concern.
"fuck going on? you dying?" he raised a brow when he saw beomgyu turn around.
"literally, kill yourself. kindly" beomgyu rolled his eyes and ran his fingers under cold water.
"thanks..? i'll cut it."
"fuck off, i don't care about your next move" now he remembers why he hates yeonjun.

they didn't even have dinner. they just ate the apple pie. hueningkai literally dined and dashed, and yeonjun's bitchass was still here.
"can you hurry up on slide six? i've been waiting for like, EVER!" beomgyu rested his head against the headboard and groaned.
"well i'm sorry i'm actually trying to make my slide look nice, negative nancy!" yeonjun argued back.
"bitch, let me see that. it better look good, considering you spent 15 minutes decorating" beomgyu snatched yeonjun's laptop and examined it. it was ok, but his was still better.
"bro give me my laptop back, you're gonna fuck my slide up. stank ass" yeonjun took his laptop back.
beomgyu rolled his eyes and looked at the time. oh shit, it was like eight already.
"we can finish this like, next week. just go home already. i've had to see your ugly face for about like, a year already. give me a week long break and shimmy on outta here" beomgyu shut off his laptop and stretched.
"but like, tomorrow's my last day on earth. can't you just let me stay here? your house is nice. AND your mom likes me" yeonjun furrowed his eyebrows.
"don't play with me. and put that bottom lip back in your mouth before my fist does it for you" beomgyu expression turned sour seeing yeonjun pout. but he wasn't gonna deny the fact that it was kinda cute. like, just a teeny tiny bit.
"fuck you, let me stay here for tonight. or else i'll tell your mom you were being a bitch to me" yeonjun was being unfair to beomgyu. he was using the mom card on him.
"no, fuck YOU. she will not believe you. get out of here.
"fine, drive me home then.
"fine."

the car ride to yeonjun's house was silent, but comfortable for some reason. he knew yeonjun's address now, so many they should switch the project over to his house.
"we're here. get out before i have to replace my car."
"fuck you, what is that supposed to mean?" yeonjun glared at him before getting out the car.
"you know just what i mean. also, now that i know where you live, our next project meet ups are gonna be at yours" beomgyu smiled mockingly, driving away before yeonjun could even respond.
