A flower crown for Luca

Luca's hug made Shu feel warm and tingly all of a sudden, his heart racing more than it should from just this. It was just a hug after all.
No it wasn't. It was a hug from Luca. And that was what made it so special. Having Luca wrap his arms around him this suddenly, even if it was for just mere seconds, was such a nice feeling.

Shu stumbeled backwards after Luca let go of him and started playing the game again. He quickly sat down on the bed, facing slightly away from Luca so he couldn't see his face if he were to look at him. Why was just this simple hug giving Shu those damn butterflies in his stomach. Why did he have to feel so strongly towards Luca. It was honestly messing with his brain. But Luca was so pretty and strong an-

"Shu?"
Luca looked a bit confused as he stared at Shu.
"Wh-what?"
Shit. He completely forgot that he was in the same room as Luca and had to focus at least a bit on him and not just his confusing thoughts.
"I asked you if you also want to say goodbye to chat."
He asked him this, while giving him those puppy eyes again, meaning that he wanted Shu to do it.
"Oh yea. Sure. I'm sorry. I guess I just got lost in thought.."

His hands were a bit sweaty as he stood up from the bed, coming over to Luca's setup and waving at chat, smiling at the screen.
"Bye chat. I hope you have a great day ahead of you."
Luca chuckled at what Shu was doing since chat couldn't even see him. It was a very cute gesture in his mind and he couldn't help but tease him about it a bit.
"Guys. Shu just waved at you. That dummy forgot you couldn't see him."
The chat started writing "cute" all over and Shu covered his face with his hands in emberassment. Why did he forget that. This was too emberassing. And it was in front of Luca as well. He just wanted to disappear into the ground.
"Bye bye. Bye bye."
Luca started doing his standard goodbye message to his chat while Shu sat down on the bed once more, looking at him.
"POOOOG"
The stream ended and Luca got cut off.

He started grinning and walked over to Shu on the bed, poking his arm.
"Thank you again Shu."
"Huh? For what?"
Shu was confused as to why Luca was thanking him.
"For helping me get through the game. Why are you do good at video games."
Luca looked completely unbothered saying this, but inside his mind, he was thinking something completely different, wanting to hug Shu again, just like he did a few minutes ago.
'And also why do you look so cute when you get flustered like this... Shit I wanna tell you about our kiss last night so bad..'
"Oh y-yea of course Luca. It seriously was no bother."
There was an awkward silence between the two of them after Shu said this since noone knew what to talk about.

"The hairclip.."
Shu mumbled quietly before standing up to go search for it in the bathroom first. Since Luca didn't hear what he said, he had no idea what Shu was looking for since he already forgot why he came here in the first place. He was a bit confused as Shu walked into their bathroom and looked all around the sink but didn't seem to find what he was looking for.
"What are you doing Shu?"

Shu didn't answer and walked back into Luca's room, the Augustus sticker smiling at him as he entered. He tried remembering where he had put it but just couldn't get his brain to focus on last night.
"Luca where was I yesterday after I drank a bit too much? Only here? And you said I fell asleep instantly, right?"
"Right- nothing more."
Luca said this very quickly, holding his breath and trying to not be too obvious that he was hiding something from Shu.
"Wait are you searching for the hairclip you mentioned on the phone? If you wanna have it back, it's in the drawer of my desk."
"Huh? In your desk drawer? How did it get there?"
Shu looked obviously confused. When had he put it in Luca's desk drawer.

"Oh uhm.. before you woke up, it was lying in my bed and I put it somewhere so it wouldn't get lost but then I forgot to give it back to you in the rush we were in this morning. I'm sorry."
"Don't worry Luca. I was the one who hurried us both this much. So it technically is my fault.."
Luca walked over to his desk, pulling out the small purple hairclip Shu forgot at his house and got to him again. He didn't give it to him though, instead he put the hairclip into his hair carefully. He then looked at Shu's face for a moment, before smiling and sitting down beside him.
"Perfect. Now you look even cuter than before. It suits you."
Shu slightly blushed at the compliment, looking back at Luca and then smiling back.
"Thank you Luca."

There it was again; that awkward silence between the two of them when they didn't know qhat to say to each other.
This time though, Luca decided to break the silence and grabbed Shu by his hand.
"Come on Shubert, let's go to the park. And we'll take that little monster downstairs with us."
"Oh okay. Sure Luca."
He followed Luca's lead downstairs, where he looked at Luca putting a leash on the small puppy, who jumped up and down in excitement. The golden retriever was so similar to Luca, it was funny to watch for Shu. They both had way too much energy but were both still so adorable. Shu couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle at the sight of the both of them this close to each other and behaving this similar.

At the park, Luca let the dog run free and he ran everywhere, coming back with a ton of sticks for the both of them to throw. After some minutes, even Luca couldn't compete with the amount of energy of the puppy anymore and dragged Shu towards a tree to sit down underneath it.
"God.. help me Shu. He has way too much energy. What is wrong with him?"
Shu started laughing as he looked at the exhausted Luca.

"He's just like you Luca. You're also just as energetic. But I guess he's got a little more energy than you. Meaning he best you. Puppy 1 - Luca 0"
Luca immediatly jumped up after Shu said this, not admitting defeat against the puppy.
"No take that back. I'll show you that I can beat that furry monster."
He started running towards the dog and played with it, leaving Shu sitting against the tree by himself. 'What a dork. But that makes him even cuter.'
Shu's eyes followed every move Luca and the puppy made for a few minutes, before he started picking a few flowers that were close to him and started braiding then into a small flower crown. It looked slightly crooked but it was still pretty enough.

He snook up on Luca from behind, reaching upwards and placing the floers on top of his head, starteling him.
"Jeez- Shu.. whew what are you doing?"
His hand wandered upwards, pulling the flower crown off his head and looking at it.
"Oh. This is pretty. Did you make that?"
Just a quick nod from Shu was enough for Luca to put it onto his own head again and smile brightly.
"Then I will wear it the rest of the day now. I will always treasure any gift from you."
'Any gift from me? Will he also like the bracelet I made even though it is ugly?'
Shu for the first time thought about gifting his self made bracelet to Luca, hearing him say he will treasure everything he made.
He kept staring at Luca and how free he seemed when he played with the puppy, when suddenly-

"Watch out!!!!"
A frisbee came flying straight against his head. The boy sprinting behind came over to Shu, helping him up from the ground and looking at his head.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't look where I was throwing it. Are you okay? Does your head hurt? I hope you can forgive me.."
His glasses fell to the ground as he bowed down to pick up the frisbee and he nervously grabbed them, before wiping the dirt from them.
"No don't worry, it's okay. Just watch out the next time you throw that frisbee, okay?"
"Of course. I'm sorry again. And thank you so much."
The boy ran away with the frisbee, Shu looking at him as he disappeared in the distance, as he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Let's go Shu. I want to go somewhere with you if that's okay. But if we wanna go there, we have to get rid of this little guy here."
The 'little guy' was still jumping up and down beside Luca and didn't seem tired at all. It seemed that this dog had double the stamina of Luca and just couldn't get exhausted.
"Oh Shu.. and I'm sorry.. when I bent down to pick up a stick for him, he jumped up and ran away with the flower crown. I went searching for it but I think he ate it.. I'm sorry.."
Luca's eyes got that puppy stare again as he told Shu about the accident while the puppy did the same so he couldn't be mad at any of the both.
"It's okay Luca." 
He bent down to ruffel the furr if the puppy's head.
"And you also don't worry."
