The forgotten hairclip

"Thanks for driving me home Luca."
Shu jumped out the car, sprinting to his apartment and fumbling with the keys to unlock the door.
"Come on.. come on. I am hoing to be late... shitshitshit"
In his hurry, he dropped the keys a few times, before finally unlocking the door. He didn't even bother changing into more comfortable clothes to stream and went to his desk, setting up the waiting room. 'God that was close.. almost came too late.'

He decided to make himself something to drink for the stream at least and went into his kitchen, coming back to his setup with abottle filled with water and a cup of coffee.

'Fine. This stream will be a nice one. My head is still spinning a bit feom the alcohol yesterday but that's fine.. I'll play a bit of this horror game and then I'll just talk to chat for the rest of the time..' He opened his stream and as soon as he appeared, the chat started sending a lot of greetings.
"Am I unmuted? Yes.. okay. Hi guys. Sorry it took so long for me to set up the waiting room. I was just a bit busy and foegot about it. I was meeting up with Luca and we just forgot the time I think."
Chat started spammung the words "boss?" and "aw", which was followed by a small laugh from Shu.
"Yea him. Oh and I also got to meet his puppy. He's a very cute one. As soon as he saw me, he started jumping around and barking like crazy. But in the end he fell asleep on my lap. I guess he likes me. Maybe even more than Luca. But don't tell him I said that."
Just as he finished that sentence, he got a message from Luca in his chat, which read "Too late Shubert. :)" and Shu read it out loud.
"Well.. but you can't deny it Luca. Your puppy loves me. But actually, let's get into the game, shall we? We can talk afterwards. First we'll play a bit of Ib."

The hours passed by and by the time, Shu looked at the clock, it had already been three hours of streaming, meaning that Luca now started his stream.
"Chat, I'm sorry but I think we'll have to end here for today. I forgot to look at the time and I don't think we can talk anymore. We'll have to do this another time.
You guys should check out Luca's stream though. I think he has something he wants to announce. I'll be in his chat though so you guys can ask me some question too if you want."
After saying that, Shu switched over from the game, to his normal chatting screen again, while chat started sending him tons of purple hearts.
"Bye bye guys. I'll see you in Luca's stream."
He switched to his ending screen and muted himself, or so he thought.

He just barely missed the mute button and yawned, sitting back in his chair.
"God this hangover is starting to kill me... No I forgot my hairclip at Luca's.. man..."
"Wait hangover?" and "Shu wears hairclips? Aw" was what he could read in chat, so he checked his mic again to see that he wasn't muted. He felt a bit emberassed about not checking twice that he was muted and just quickly said "bye guys" again, before closing the stream completely and picking up his phone to call Luca.

He didn't have to wait long, until Lica picked up the phone and answered him, not bothering to mute himself in the stream.
"What is it Shubert? Oh you forgot your hairclip? Sure you can come and pick it up. I think it doesn't really matter and it won't bother the stream, right guys?"
Luca's chat answered by telling him that it was a great idea for Shu to come over to his place now.
"Actually chat wants you to come over. So you can come and maybe stay a bit if you want to. It's gonna be some sort of off collab. You're coming over? Pog. That's great. See you Shubert."

Shu put his phone away and went into the bathroom to fix himself a bit, before meeting up with Luca again. He wanted to look good for him no matter what, so he put his hair up into a high ponytail, which again didn't look completely right but he just went with it, before also renewing the red eye makeup he always wore. Since he didn't plan on going anywhere with Luca, he decided for a more casual outfit, putting on some cargo pants and a sweater in his favourite colour; purple.

To finish of the look, he put on his glasses and a small bracelet he got from Luca once.
It looked self made, since the pattern was a bit distorted at some places but since it was purple and from Luca, he wore it almost every day. The bracelet was one of the things he treasured most and he tried making one for Luca as well but it turned out looking like a mess so he decided to keep it and not give it to him. It was lying on his desk, beside his setup, the yellow yarn almost shining in his mostly dark room.

Smiling, he got his keys and made his way to Luca's house, quickly stopping by the café to get two iced coffees for Luca and himself and then walking towards the house of the Kaneshiro's. Knocking on the front door, he was greeted by Luca's mother and the small puppy, who immediatly tried jumping on him again.
"I'm sorry buddy.. but I can't pet you right now."
He slightly whook the coffees in his hands while Ms. Kaneshiro picked up the puppy into her arms and apologized for it jumping on Shu like that.
"Don't worry about it please. I just came to visit your son."
He smiled at her and she singned him to enter the house, Shu going up to knock on the door of Luca's room. It was always easy to find which door belonged to Luca, since he put a small sticker of Augustus on it and could always be heard through the door.

As he heard Shu, he screamed "Wait a second guys", before pulling open the door to brightly smile down at Shu. He took him by his wrist and dragged him over to his setup.
"Look who's finally here guys."
He signed for Shu to say hello to his chat and Shu just said a quick "hi chat", before handing Luca one of the coffees and sitting down beside him, on the bed, while Luca attended his game again.
"Guys I wish I could show you Shu right now. He looks so pretty. He even put his hair up in a ponytail."
Luca's chat spammed a ton of yellow and purple hearts and some even wrote some compliments.
Shu just sat on Luca's bed, watching the puppy like boy play his game and forgot the time, as he smiled at the image in front of him.

At one point, Luca looked very frustrated at the game and turned to face Shu, who was now caught staring at him and turned a bit red, which Luca didn't even notice.
"Shu... help me.. this puzzle is too hard.. please?"
He looked at him with the puppy stare he always did when he wanted something and Shu came over to his setup, looking at the game.
"Should I do this passage for you Luca? Or should I just try to explain it to you?"
"Can you just do it please? I have literally no idea what to do.."
He stood up from his chair, allowing Shu to sit down in it, as he was now the one to play the game for Luca. The chat got very excited, as Shu was now in control for Luca and the Lucubs were looking more like Yaminions at that moment.

Just a few moments later, Shu got through the difficult part of the game and Luca could play again. But before he sat down in the chair again, he gave Shu a quick hug, who was a bit stateled and felt his heart speed up its pace.
"Thank you Shubert. You're the best."
"N-no problem Luca.."
