Lorelei and nelson arrived at the Johnsons 5 minutes early. Lorelei has babysit they two kids before. So while the parents talked Lorelei decided to introduce Nelson the the kids.
They walked into the living rooms and saw the 8 month old sitting on floor mat and the 2 year old playing with toys while watching paw patrol.
"Alright so the girl right there on the couch is Gracie and the baby boy down there is Chris." Lorelei said holding on to Nelson's arm.
"Ok." Nelson said looking down at her.
Nelson and Lorelei walk back to the kitchen where the parent were. Mr and Mrs Johnson told Nelson and Lorelei all the different thing like there bed time, bottles, where everything was, and other things.
Once the parents left Lorelei and Nelson went back to the living room.
"Hi Gracie." Lorelei said bending over in front of the couch.
Nelson sat beside Gracie on the couch.
"Lorelei!!" Gracie says sticking her arms out to lift her up.
Lorelei picks up Gracie. And talks to her for a minute.
"Oh Gracie there's someone I want you to meet." Lorelei says sitting down next to Nelson.
"Ok!" Gracie says clapping her hands.
"This is Nelson." Lorelei told the toddler
Gracie looks at Nelson. She then looks back at Lorelei. Gracie climbs to Nelson's lap.
"I think she likes you." Lorelei said leaning her head on his shoulder.
Lorelei got up after a few seconds and went to the baby playing on the floor.
"Hi Chris." Lorelei said making the baby smile.
From the couch nelson admired Lorelei. She was so cute and gentle when it came to kids. Nelson had always known Lorelei loved them.
"Isn't he so cute Nelson." Lorelei turning around with the baby on her hip.
"He is Lorelei." Nelson says snapping out of his thoughts.
"I'm gonna make him a bottle. Can you play with Gracie for a little more." Lorelei said before walking to the kitchen.
"Yup." Nelson told Lorelei.
Lorelei walked off to the kitchen placing Chris into his high chair and started making his bottle. While Lorelei was in the kitchen Gracie jumped off Nelson's lap and ran to Lorelei.
Nelson followed behind Gracie. She sat on one of the smaller stools in the kitchen across from Lorelei. Nelson stood behind Lorelei wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Hi Nelson." Lorelei said smiling.
"Hi Lorelei." Nelson said hugging her tighter.
Lorelei was done making the bottle. She hugged Nelson then walked over to Chris and took him out of the high chair.
"Hey Nelson can you pour Gracie a small bowl of Cheerios?" Lorelei said turning around.
"Yeah where are they?"
"The bowls are in the cabinet by the sink and the cereal is in the pantry over behind you." Lorelei told Nelson.
Lorelei sat down on the couch feeding Chris. Nelson sat down on the couch and a few seconds after Gracie sat on Nelson's lap.
"She really likes you nelson. I think that means you should come with me babysitting for often." Lorelei said trying to convince him.
"I mean babysitting isn't that bad." Nelson said shrugging his shoulders.
Lorelei laughed and turned in a movie for the four.
When Chris was done eating she changed his diaper and changed him into pjs
An hour later Lorelei has a sleeping baby on her chest and Nelson had a sleeping toddler on his lap.
"I think we should put them to bed." Nelson said.
"Yeah." Lorelei said standing up.
Nelson carried Gracie to her room and put her to bed.
Lorelei was glad the she changed him into pjs and changed his diaper earlier otherwise this would have been hell to get him changed and back to sleep.
Nelson walked in the nursery and saw Lorelei putting Chris in his crib. She grabbed the baby monitor and turned around to see Nelson watching her.
"Jeez Nelson you scared me." Lorelei whisper-yelled.
Nelson grabbed Lorelei's hand and pulled her back to the living room. Nelson sat down and patting the seat next to him. Lorelei sits down next to him. She rest her head on his shoulder.
"I love you Lorelei." Nelson says.
"I love you too Nelson." Lorelei said lifting her head of Nelson's shoulder.
Nelson pulled Lorelei into a kiss. Lorelei played with Nelson's curls while they kissed. The continued to kiss until they heard Mr and Mrs Johnson walk in the door.
Lorelei and Nelson break apart and lay down in the couch and watch they movie they put in a while ago.
"Hey guys how was your date?" Lorelei said sitting up.
"It was good how were the kids." Mrs johnson asks.
"They were awesome Gracie loves Nelson." Lorelei said putting a hand on Nelson's chest.
"Aww maybe you should come help babysit more Nelson. We'll leave you to alone your mom will be here soon Lorelei." Mrs Johnson said.
"Ok!" Lorelei said laying back down on Nelson.
While they watched a little more of the movie Nelson whispered in Lorelei's ear.
