(AN: So, somehow, even though I've been a massive DC fan all my life, I never really got into the DC Animated Universe ('Batman: The Animated Series', 'Superman: The Animated Series', 'Batman Beyond' or 'Justice League Unlimited' etc), which I was very much surprised by. Funnily enough, the first DC animated movie I can remember watching was actually the 'Superman: Doomsday' film that adapted the 'Death of Superman' storyline in 2007, which seems a forever ago, around sixteen years later. I remember really enjoying how mature it felt for an animated comic film, apparently it was animated in a similar style to the DC Animated Universe, but was directed by different people. So now I'm let down because younger me probably would have loved to have seen more of that. Either way, I might now have to go on a cartoon binge and watch through them, because I've always heard how good the shows are, if anyone has any input I'd love to hear it.)

(As always, enjoy the chapter!)

====================

Stone attempted to present a formal appearance, setting his rambunctious daughter to one side, he raised his arm up high, a solid snap sounded from the tent, a few Junkers scurrying, retrieving a wooden crate, quickly depositing the lopsided box In front of their leader. From his side sat a damaged canvas bag, opening up the old fabric, he retrieved a rolled-up parchment, stained and dirtied, it appeared to have been heavily used. Slamming it down onto the wooden container, Stone unfurled the paper, flattening it out, revealing a crude map of the island continent, with multiple different borders depicted across the land mass. The handwriting was faded and hard to make out, and it had obviously been drawn with pencil from estimations rather than precise borders, but it seemed to display the known Junker territories across the Outback.

Stone's hand hovered over the map, directing his index finger towards the bottom left-hand corner of the parchment, "This is where we are now, Perth is the last remnant that the National Government holds on western part of the continent, outside of that, wastelanders roam wild, killing and pillaging the untamed lands. The closest official territory to Perth is my fiefdom, Stone Territory in the Great Western Woodland, and officially the smallest of the warlords..." he explained, growing more deflated as he went on, "But we had a lot of loyal men and women who could fight, and a strong arsenal of vehicles that let us punch above our weight, yet it's quickly becoming clear we can't keep up, especially after the raid yesterday..."

"To our direct eastern border is Mason Territory, Howl controlling the Great Victoria Desert and Nullarbor, but most importantly, he controls the official capital of the Junkers, Junkertown, the largest city in the Outback..." Lobo let out a small snicker, getting elbowed by Rose who sent him a narrow glare, [Y/N] sat analysing the map closely. "North of Mason Territory are the bikers, or Roadhog Territory, who control the Gibson Desert, the Little Sandy Desert, the Great Sandy Desert and Pilbara. This is where the land gets much more dangerous, with rougher terrain to traverse, and harder lands to cultivate, with Mako's raiders raising hell all along the main roads..." the Junker continued, a sadness evident in the way he spoke about his old allies.
