Y/N didn't say anything after that; instead, she just tugged Tae's hoodie's hem and dragged him to herself, and she crawled into Tae's chest so she could smell him. Y/N never points out how a person can smell just like her favorite scent, a mild scent of soil that comes when rain falls into it after a hard, sunny day. It always gives her a sense of calm. Tae's father told her to try to scent Tae cause his anger would calm by this, but it calmed her.

Tae, understanding the gravity of the situation and noticing the pouring rain in the middle of the night, felt that Y/N's fear was triggered by the thunderstorm. He decided not to ask her any questions at that moment, prioritizing her comfort and well-being.
