Rose and Hyacinth walked silently through what remained to be traveled of The Shell as they held hands. Both were still recovering from what they had witnessed. They came to a makeshift bridge over a seemingly endless pit, constructed of fallen pillars, sheet metal, bone, and flesh. Neither of the two hesitated, and continued across the precarious bridge with no disregard, not even really noticing how dangerous it was.
"MEGASYSTEM WARNING: BRAIN ACTIVITY DETECTED." An alarm went off somewhere, and the entire room began to shake violently.
