(Lily's Pov)
The next day
All throughout classes Draco and I were silent.
We didn't even look at each other.

Maybe yesterday was a one time thing.
COMC ended, and he walked out without saying anything.

Was I still supposed to go to his dorm?

(Draco's Pov)
Lily hasn't come all day, It's night now.
Did she forget, or just not wanna come?

I was gonna text her, but I didn't wanna seem desperate. But I was desperate. I couldn't afford any marks off. Especially for something as stupid as not casting a patronus.

December 7th
It's been two days, and she still hasn't come.
I have less then two weeks to figure this out.

Does she just not care anymore?
This is why I hate her. So fucking unreliable.

COMC ended, and I grabbed her arm.
I dragged her away from the crowd, and she pulled away.

"What do you want?" She asked.
"Why haven't you been coming?" I said angrily.

"You never told me to." She said.
"Does your mother tell you to go to class everyday?" I said.

"Well no bu-"
"Just come to my dorm, I don't have time for your excuses."

She nodded, and we got to my dorm.
"Where should I put my bag?" She asked.
Her voice was extra quiet, and soft.

"Are you nervous?" I asked.

"I'm sorry I didn't come. You didn't say anything. I didn't wanna show up uninvited."

"It's fine you're here now. You don't have to be stressed about that." I said.

I didn't wanna deal with her getting anxious.
Its taking time away from learning the patronus, and I don't have the patience.

"That's not why I'm upset." She said.
Her body was tense.
"Okay." I said.

"Are we gonna start or not?" She asked annoyed.

"If you're gonna be moody, get out. How the fuck am I gonna learn a patronus if you're not in a good mood?" I asked.

"I'm sorry." She said.

"Accepting defeat so easily? Not even gonna insult me, or throw a remark?" I asked.

I've noticed she goes silent when she's upset.
It doesn't matter how much of a jerk I am.
She won't say a word.

"Fuck Lily, don't go all quiet on me.
I need to figure this patronus out." I said

"Maybe today isn't a good day." She said.
"Then get out." I said.

She stood up, and went to grab her backpack.
Fuck she was actually leaving.

"Okay wait." I said.
She looked at me.

"What's bothering you?" I asked.
"I saw Lucas with another girl. They were getting really close." She said.

"Then he's done with you." I said.
"Draco!" She said.

"What do you want me to say? The girl means nothing, and he's gonna ask you out again?"

"That would be nice." She said.
"That would also be incorrect. Don't get your hopes up." I said.

"You're a jerk." She said.
"An honest jerk." I said back.

She sighed, and her eyes watered.
Fuck.

"Do you think we're over?" She asked softly.
Now I had to be careful.
