"Now, Cj." I said as I walked up to Cj and bent down. I grabbed her hand. "You can't tell, anyone, that's Winter is a witch, okay? She can't be known." I explained. Cj sat up even more and nodded.

"Okay. I won't tell anyone!" Cj said happily. I sighed.

"Winter, how did you do that?" Alex asked as he walked up to Winter. We turned to him as she shrugged.

"I don't know. I just heal people." Winter said. Alex looked shocked.

"That's why they want you, I think." Alex stated.

"What?" Winter asked.

"You see? They want your healing power." Alex explained.

"But they don't know I can heal people." Winter stated. Alex sighed.

"Never mind." Alex said. I looked at Cj.

"How are you feelin'?" I asked Cj. She smiled.

"A lot better." Cj turned to Winter. "Thank you." Winter smiled.

"You're welcome." Winter said. I smiled. I heard the door open.

"James? Cj? You home?"

"Dad!" I yelled. I looked at Winter.

"James? Where are you?" Dad asked.

"Uh, I'm in my bathroom!" I yelled.

"Okay, I'm comin' up!" Dad yelled. There was a paused, then I heard him go up the stairs. I ran over to my backpack and grabbed my folder. Then I ran back and handed Winter and Alex piece of paper.

"Sit down." I whispered. They both sat down quickly. I sat down next to Winter.

"James! Where the hell are you?" Dad asked from upstairs.

"Oh! Did I saw bathroom?! I meant livin' room!" I yelled. I heard Dad stomp down the stairs, then there was a paused. All of a sudden, I saw Dad run into the living room.

"Hey James. Who are your friends?" Dad asked.

"Oh, these are my friends Winter and Alex. They're here to study with me."
