As we entered the dining area, I couldn't help but feel a sense of novelty. Instead of being treated as a butler, I found myself being treated more like an honored guest in this alternate Scarlet Devil Mansion.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I couldn't help but voice my question. "Say... What is this meal?"

Sakuya, taken slightly aback, responded, "Hm? It's the special meal we prepare for guests..."

"I understand that, but..." I hesitated, unsure of how to express my thoughts.

The table was adorned with a lavish spread—a large roasted chicken at the center, a plate of pasta on the side, toasted garlic bread resting in a basket, and a bottle of wine.

"You know... Thank you for doing this, but isn't this too much?"

Sakuya looked at me with a slightly puzzled expression, her eyes widening as she realized her oversight. "I see," she said, her voice tinged with realization. "I forgot that you are a butler in service to your own mistress. My apologies."

"No, no! I appreciate it, actually. It's just... different," I replied with a smile.

Understanding my perspective, Sakuya nodded in understanding. "I apologize for the oversight."

As I took my seat and indulged in the delicious meal, I couldn't contain my astonishment at the flavors that danced upon my taste buds. "Uwahh! It's so good!?" I

Sakuya, still a bit timid, glanced at me and then looked away, a faint smile playing on her lips. "I'm glad..." she replied softly.

Curiosity piqued, I gestured towards her untouched plate. "Hm? Are you not going to eat?"

She shook her head. "No, I've already had my share earlier."

"I see..." I began eating, savoring each bite. Before I knew it, I had devoured the pasta and made significant progress in finishing the chicken. Pausing momentarily, I reached for the wine glass. "Woah! This wine is great too!?"

Sakuya nodded a hint of pride in her voice. "Yes, it's made from grapes mixed with blood. Vampires enjoy it, and humans can appreciate its taste as well."

I took another sip and savored the complex notes of the wine. "I see, I see... It's truly delightful!"

As I took one last sip of the wine, I noticed a fleeting glimpse of a figure peering through the partially open dining room door. I turned to Sakuya, pointing in the direction of the door. "Hm? Who's that?"

Sakuya followed my gaze, scanning the area around the door. "Who?" she questioned, her brow furrowing slightly. "I don't see anyone there."

Confusion washed over me as I turned back to the door. "But... I just saw someone," I murmured.

"I see... You're probably feeling tired after enjoying the meal I prepared. How about I escort you to your room?"

I remained silent for a moment, Eventually, I tore my gaze away from the door and nodded in agreement. "M-Much appreciated,"

Together, Sakuya and I walked down the hallway until we reached my assigned room. Sakuya opened the door and gestured for me to enter. "This is your room."

I stepped inside and took in the sight of the guest room, finding it more lavish and elaborate than I had anticipated. The bed loomed large and inviting, a stark contrast to the humble quarters I was accustomed to.

"Well then, please rest," Sakuya said, closing the door behind her, leaving me to settle in.

I walked over to the bed and sat down, the softness of the mattress providing a moment of comfort. "Hahhh, I'm tired... Maybe I should truly rest," I murmured to myself. I kicked off my shoes and lay back, staring up at the ceiling.

The image of the mysterious figure flashed through my mind once more, "I wonder who that could be..." my thoughts drifted aimlessly. However, as the heaviness of sleep began to descend upon me, "Never mind... I'll just... sleep," I whispered surrendering to the drowsiness that enveloped me.

As I slumbered peacefully, a soft giggle pierced through the room, rousing me from my sleep. Slowly, I opened my eyes and beheld a figure shrouded in the shadows.

"It's nighttime already...? Is there something you need?" I asked as I rub my eyes to clear my vision.

My gaze settled on the figure, and my eyes widened. She held a sword engulfed in red flames, and her attire consisted of a black dress with a black mob cap adorned with a red ribbon.

"Fufufu~ Did I wake you up?~" she taunted, swinging her fiery sword through the air. Her eyes gleamed with an intense bloodlust, and a wide smile stretched across her face.

"Lady Flandre?!"

Without hesitation, she lunged forward, and I instinctively stepped back, my back pressing against the wall. The bed ignited as her sword passed through it, engulfing it in flames.

"Hehehe~ Let's play... Don't bore me, okay?~" Flandre said with her voice filled with mischievous excitement.

"Great... Another encounter with Flandre..." I muttered to myself and grabs the crimson crystal from my pocket.
