The Bennett household was always filled with laughter. Never once was there silence which was something Genevieve always loved. She always had 6 kids in the house whether it was just visiting or sleepovers. Not that she minded though as long as her Ember was happy that's what mattered. When Genevieve was pregnant she went to Terrance's house to tell him the news only to come face to face with his wife. The women was honest with Nelly and told her she was sorry that he had told her he was single. Nelly couldn't be mad at the upset red head knowing just how her husband was. So Genevieve told the Lahote women the truth how she was expecting a child and it was Terrance. Of course Nelly was upset with her husband for cheating but just couldn't find herself upset with the expecting mom so the two became friends over time.
Both sharing the news to 2 almost 3 year old Paul Lahote who just wore a big smile. Nelly was there for Genevieve the who nine months all the way up to when Emberlynn was born. Little Paul was happy to finally be a brother and would protect her with his whole life. As the two Lahote's got older they were inseparable.
Then came Jared and Embry the best friend and cousin. Causing ruckus everywhere the four went and all getting in trouble together because of their Moto "When one falls we all fall." Jared became another brother figure to Emberlynn growing up having him wrapped around her finger as well. Embry and Emberlynn may have been cousin due to their moms being stepsisters but they spent so much time together they acted like twins and also becoming inseparable.
Then came young Jacob who because Emberlynn's best friend. The two become attached at the hip. At the age of 13 Emberlynn and Jacob developed crushes. Ember never acted on it cause she thought he liked the mean girl Bella swan. Bella Swan always found a way to torment Emberlynn from pulling her hair to pushing her out the swing when she would tag along to the park. Bella thought that Jacob could only have one friend that was a girl so she tried to scare Emberlynn away. Then came Quil a sweet goofy boy who liked to cause pranks. He's the main reason him Embry and Ember got in trouble the 3 gaining the name trouble trio. Especially from Paul and Jared who were always the main targets to the 3 younger ones pranks.
Things were simple during these days no one had to worry about Vampires or have to become shifters or even worry about getting there magic in control they could just live a normal happy life.
