Optimasksus (Zombie Apocalypse) [COMPLETED]

I woke up because it's too noisy around me. My vision wasn't clear yet. I can hear them murmuring something. I can't understand them clearly but only one thing i know is they're all female.

I try to get up. My whole body hurts. What time is it? Did I over sleep? I feel something weird in my hand. Dextrose? How that happen?

"She's finally awake! Tawagin niyo na sila sir Hebruin!" Someone shout, sumakit ang ulo ko sa ginawa niya. I feel their presence getting lesser. I guess they go outside.

I blink my eyes many times trying to get my vision back. I just realize that curtains stand as a wall of my room. Is this a clinic?

The front curtain open. "You're awake, kamusta pakiramdam mo?" He ask, someone is behind his back. I called him.

"Anyare?" Pabulong kong tanong kay Zel. He chuckle, "Long story, sagutin mo na baka 'di ako makalabas ng buhay dito." He scratch his hand on the back of his neck. Joking.

I saw how Don-don stares got darken and darken as seconds pass. I smiled, they actually came. Thank goodness! I thought i'm gonna die!

"I'm okay, care to share 'bat ang dami ng sugat mo sa mukha?" I ask, his face brighten as I answered him. Smiling like an idiot.

"Are you worried now?" He said without stopping from smiling. Unti unti ay sinundan niya ito ng mahinang tawa. I can see his teeth from here. What a clear teeth, how to be you po!?

"Hey, stop looking at me like that. Baka ma-inlove ka, kasalanan ko pa. Though, payag naman ako!" He laugh, his adams apple moving upsidedown.

"You have a beautiful teeth, you know?" I said it with a simple smile. Inilipat ko ang tingin kay Zel.

"How is Tena? I haven't seen her yet. How long did i sleep?" I ask in a lower tone. I can't  remember clearly what happened that night.

"Nagluluto siya ng makakain natin, tinutulungan na din siya nila Amara." Whose Amara? One of the slaves? I can't remember, i haven't seen her face din.

"You sleep for about five days straight." Don-don said, dahil sa gulat ay agad na napabaling ako ng tingin sa kaniya. Whut?!

"Nagkalagnat ka nung gabing 'yon, puro sugat din katawan mo. You even had a black eye, both of your cheeks have a bruises." His brows intersected. I did the same. Confused. Though i didn't know how i get wounds in my body but i remember what happened about my cheeks.

"Even Tena told me someone battering you. Hindi ako mapakali araw araw habang nakaratay ka diyan, unconscious." He frustratedly said.

"I just said to my self when I saw you fighting with that old lady. I must protect her, no. I'm gonna protect you. Yet, this happen. I cannot forgive myself." I saw his tears forming at the edge of his eyes. Oh, to be protect by this man. Such a standard.

"It's okay, atleast dumating ka. You save me from those bounts who try to eat me alive." I let a small laugh. I saw how his eyes became confused. What? Did i say something wrong?

"I haven't killed a single soul of bount when i got here, Leiarhha." His brows intersected again. Whut?

"Huh? Nakita pa nga kitang pinalo mo ang mga 'yon e!" Naguguluhan kong sabi. Totoo naman ah? I'm really sure! Before i passed out, i saw him!

"Tss, yeah." Wow boombastik side eye 'yan? "Kaya mo na bang makatayo? We're gonna eat. Okay lang kung hindi pa, sasamahan nalang kita kumain dito." He added.

Tumango ako, "Kaya ko na, sir Hebruin." Nakangiwi kong sabi. What does he expect to me? I rest for five days 'no!

"Your jealous, huh?" He said, inalalayan akong tumayo. Mediyo mabanhid ang mga paa ko, mediyo lang naman. Ikaw ba naman makaratay sa higaan ng five days!

"Stop being delulu, dude." I replied, i now finally stand alone. Pero nariyan parin 'yong kamay niya sa may bewang ko, nakaalalay.

We got outside, nag paiwan muna si Zel sa loob dahil magpapalit daw siya ng damit. He even said to us na, 'Nakakahiya naman sa inyong dalawa kung maging third wheel ako." Tss.

"Hi, mabuti at gising kana ate Kate." Someone said it to me. I haven't introduced myself yet they know me! How come?

"Uhmm..." she sigh. "Nae-kwento ka kasi ni Zel saamin, minsan naman si Sir Hebruin." She continued. Nang makaupo sa isang mesa doon ko lang napansin na isang kampo pala iyon. Wires serves as a walls, circling ng camp.

May nakaharang ding mga sirang truck at kotse sa unahan ng mga wires. Symbolize as a first wall. May taas din na halos apat na metro. Feeling ko ay barracks ito dito noon.

"Ate," someone called me. "Alam mo po ba? Oras oras chine-check ka roon ni sir Hebruin. Sinabi niya pa ngang ikaw lang daw ang pwedeng tumawag sa ginawa mong nickname sa kaniya. Sweet!" Bulong nito, nag init ang dalawa kong tenga sa sinabi. Don't know why, okay!

"How come na maraming pagkain? Five days, ibig bang sabihin lumabas kayo?" I ask, binaliwala ang sinabi ng babae saakin. Iba ang dapat isipin huwag iyon! Tama, tama!

"Nah, may mga stock naman sila dito." Don-don answered my question. He put fried egg on my plate and fried rice. "Kain kana, baka makaalis na tayo bukas. Remember, our parents?" He said, kumain na lang din ako. 'Til now ay nag-iinit parin 'yong tenga ko!

"Nakita din namin na naghahakot iyong mga tauhan nila Melville ng tig sasakong bigas at mga canned goods. Ewan ko kung saan nila 'yon nakukuha. Kahit mga mineral water ay may nakukuha sila." Ibang babae naman ang nagsalita. There's seven womens and five girls. Though, i can't tell how old are they. I can tell naman sa mukha nila.

"I'm Amara, this is Fin," turo niya sa katabi. "Ann, Lea, Aira, Ella, Dillha," turo niya sa nasa harapan namin. "And they're are Mist, Bia, Cristen, Gillian, and Marie." Sabay turo sa tabi namin.

Saktong dumating si Zel at umupo sa bakanteng upuan, katabi ni Tena. A one big family, huh? Is Zel and Don-don, don't feel awkward? Kasi puro babae ang kasama nila? Ehemm, your mind Kate!

"You're spacing out nanaman, Kate. Focus on your food." Nagbalik ako sa ulirat ng tawagin niya ang pangalan ko. I continued eating. Maggagabe na rin. I guess this is our dinner, huh? Well, okay lang naman sakin. Pero kasi, walang laman 'yong tiyan ko for five days ano! Pumayat na din ako, oo at alam ko dahil ako ang nagdadala ng katawan ko.

"Here, kain ka pa. You must be hungry." Nakakahiya, nabasa niya ba iyon iniisip ko? Nilagyan niya ng mas maraming fried rice iyon plato ko, he even took again a fried egg and put it on my plate.

"Wag ka mag-alala, pinasubrahan ni Tena ang pagluto ng malaman niyang nagising ka. Alam niyang gutom ka." Amara said. I just notice, same voice sila ng babaeng sumigaw kanina. Ehehe, sumakit lang naman ang ulo ko. I just gave her a quick smile and then continue to eat.

Ang sarap ng luto ni Tena ahh?!!
