Meera woke up in Shubham's arms.
She tried her best to move away without making any sound to escape the awkward moment but Shubham woke up in the middle of her attempt of doing so.
"What?!", asked Shubham in a sleepy voice.
Meera nodded her head in no.
Shubham understood her awkwardness.
"It's okay! I am going", said Shubham while getting up from the bed.
Shubham got up.
"From today you are joining the office", said Shubham.
"Yes okay..", said Meera.
"Not okay. Get up and get ready fast. You are coming to the office with me", said Shubham.
"Okay okay.. just give me 15 minutes. I will be ready", said Meera and ran to the washroom.
Shubham goes to another washroom for the shower.
After a while, Shubham came out after taking a shower but Meera was still not there.
"15 minutes are over", said Shubham.
"5 minutes more", said Meera from inside the washroom.
Shubham started getting ready.
Very soon, he was ready in formals.
But Meera was still in the washroom.
"What are you doing inside for so long?! It's been more than 25 minutes", said Shubham.
Meera came out of the washroom.
"Yes yes... Just 5 more minutes", said Meera.
Meera was in a pajama and t-shirt with her wet hair wrapped in the towel.
Shubham was giving her an unblinking stare.
"What?", asked Meera.
"No, nothing. For a second I thought that how did a child come out of my washroom?!", said Shubham laughingly.
Meera gave him a serious stare.
"Okay okay. Just change it asap! We are getting late", said Shubham.
"Yes but for that you will have to go out", said Meera.
"Yes of course", said Shubham and left the room.
"Child?! Ridiculous!", mumbles Meera.
Shubham returned after 20 minutes but the door was still locked.
"It's more than 20 minutes. What are you doing?! Now you are testing my patience, I have never been so late for office", said Shubham while knocking on the door.
The door opened.
Meera was standing there in a saree.
"I can't go", said Meera steadily.
"What?!", asked Shubham confusingly.
"I said that I will not go", said Meera.
Shubham took a deep breath while going inside the room and sat on the bed holding his head.
After a minute of massaging his face and hair heatedly, he spoke.
"You took 45 minutes to tell me that you can't go", said Shubham with a lot of patience.
"Yes, I can't", said Meera.
"If this is a joke then it is ridiculous", said Shubham.
"No, it's not", said Meera.
