In Meera and Shubham's room
Shubham came out of the washroom after cleaning the stain on his shirt.
"Is that stain still there?",asked Meera.
"No, it's not. What happened? Did you talk with your mother?",asked Shubham.
"No, my phone's battery was very low so I put it on charging. Can I have your phone for a minute?",asked Meera.
"Yeah",said Shubham and gave his phone to Meera.
She was dialing her mother's number when she accidentally saw the recently dialed contacts.
The first name on recently dialed list boiled her blood.
"What happened? Do you not remember your mother's number?", asked Shubham.
Meera gave no answer. She was just staring at the phone.
Shubham felt strange.
He took the phone from Meera's hand.
After seeing the name on recently dialed, he understood the reason behind her anger.
"What is this?",asked Meera.
"Nothing, it's nothing like you are assuming",said Shubham.
"I am not a child to whom you can manipulate. What were you talking to him?",asked Meera.
"See, I used to talk to him even before our marriage. So don't take everything on yourself",said Shubham.
"Is he still in Ahemdabad?",asked Meera.
"Listen..",said Shubham but Meera didn't let him complete.
"I asked, is he still in Ahemdabad? Yes or no?",asked Meera.
"Yes",said Shubham.
"It was not expected from you Mr. Malhotra. I trusted you and did everything you say but you.. you didn't fulfill your promise. You have betrayed me!",shouted Meera with tears in her eyes.
"Shut up! I didn't betray you. I am fulfilling my every promise and will fulfill it till my last breath",shouted Shubham.
"Then why is he still in Ahemdabad? Do you remember our contract?",asked Meera.
Flashback of Meera and Shubham's marriage day.
In Shubham's cabin.
"I will help you but only on one condition",said Shubham.
"What?",asked Meera crying.
"You will have to marry me",said Shubham.
Meera was shooked. She was still processing what he just said.
Shubham goes to his desk. He typed the whole contract on the computer and took out its print.
"This! This is the contract bond between us. I will protect you and will make sure that this man will leave this country forever but in return you will have to marry me!",said Shubham in a dead serious tone.
"I want time..",said Meera in breaking voice.
"But I don't have time neither that person has. Decide within 10 minutes that what you want. That person has stopped because I said him to. I will not help you if you didn't agree to my condition. You help me and I will help you. Choice is yours..",said Shubham.
Meera was lost in her thoughts.
"Our marriage will be real, I will fulfill all my duties towards you as a husband. Mine name will be yours but it will not tie you in any bondages, you will be free to make your decisions and can do anything you want. Our marriage will show society you as my wife and that's all I want. I need a wife very urgently and as much I saw and listened that day, you are a perfect choice for it. That's why I want you to play the role of my wife for the world",said Shubham and forwarded the contract papers to Meera.
Meera took it and was going to sign it.
Shubham held her hand to stop her from signing it.
"Read it first",said Shubham.
"I can't.. I am not in the condition to read it",said Meera.
Shubham took the papers from her hand.
"Look here..",said Shubham and read the whole contract aloud while showing each line to Meera.
Meera nodded and took back the papers from Shubham.
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a moment and then signed the contract from her shivering hands.
Shubham too signed it.
"Come..",said Shubham while holding Meera's hand and took her outside infront of everyone.
Flashback ends.
"Remember?",asked Meera angrily.
"Yes",said Shubham.
"Then why is he still here?! You had promised me that as soon as I will marry you, then this person will leave this country forever",said Meera.
"Shubham Malhotra never forgets his promise and that too I had done to my wife. I didn't get time as all this wedding chaos was occupying me. But that person didn't did anything, I have my full control over him",said Shubham.
"Did I did any delay in marrying you? Mr. Malhotra, that's the biggest decision of a girl's life but you asked me to took it within 10 minutes without informing anyone, not even to my mother! And you are saying that you didn't get time for fulfilling this small promise of yours",said Meera.
"Stop accusing me! I will make him leave this country tomorrow itself",said Shubham in anger.
"Not tomorrow but today within 10 minutes!",said Meera.
Shubham was looking shockingly at her.
"Yes within 10 minutes. That day, you had given me 10 minutes to took biggest decision of my life and today, I am giving you 10 minutes to fulfill your promise. If you didn't then I will understand that you have betrayed me. Mr. Shubham Malhotra is not man of his words! He didn't fulfill his promise that he had made to his wife",said Meera.
"Okay! Just wait and watch",said Shubham fiercely.
Shubham made a call.
"Book a private chopper to reach Ahmedabad right now",said Shubham on call and hung up.
"You can't reach Ahmedabad in 10 minutes",said Meera.
"I know but if it was possible then I would have made it there in 5 minutes",said Shubham.
"It will take time to reach Ahmedabad. What if he did anything till then?",asked Meera.
"He can't even take a step without my permission. I had made all the arrangements for him till I reach there. I know how to fulfill my promise",said Shubham looking deep in Meera's teary eyes.
"I will also go with you",said Meera.
