The soft rays of dawn began to filter through the curtains, casting a gentle glow across the room. It was a new day, and for Ugetsu, it marked his first early morning training session with Team 7. Asuma, being a good brother, decided to take Ugetsu to his first training with Team 7. However, as Asuma quietly opened the door to Ugetsu's room, he was met with a sight that made him shake his head in resignation.

Ugetsu lay nestled in his bed, his sleep seemingly undisturbed by the approaching morning. His white hair cascaded around his face, lending him an almost ethereal appearance. Asuma's brow furrowed as he observed the slumbering boy, realizing just how deep Ugetsu was in his dreams. It was clear that waking him up would be no easy task.

Just as Asuma contemplated his options, the sound of footsteps interrupted his thoughts. Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage, entered the room with a sigh, his eyes falling upon Ugetsu's peaceful form. He shook his head, a mix of exasperation and amusement playing on his aged features.

"Ugetsu, my boy, you've managed to sleep through another sunrise," Hiruzen muttered, his voice tinged with a touch of nagging. "I swear, you're like a bear in hibernation."

A slight snore escaped Ugetsu's lips, causing Asuma to suppress a chuckle. With a resigned sigh, Asuma moved closer to the bed and nudged Ugetsu gently. "Come on, sleepyhead, it's time to wake up. You have a training session with Team 7," he prodded, his voice persistent.

Ugetsu groaned in response, his brows furrowing as he slowly began to emerge from his slumber. His sharp teeth peeked out from between his lips, lending a comical aspect to his grumpy expression.

Asuma couldn't help but be amused by the scene unfolding before him. He watched as Ugetsu blinked his eyes open, his gaze still clouded with sleep. It was clear that the boy was not a morning person, and Asuma couldn't help but sympathize with his reluctance to leave the comforts of his bed.

With a final grumble, Ugetsu swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, stretching his limbs in an attempt to shake off the remnants of sleep. His eyes met Asuma's, and a groggy smile tugged at his lips.

"Kurenai-swannn," his voice still tinged with sleepiness, a playful tone evident. "Please grace me with my morning kiss," he teased, leaning in with puckered lips, emitting a smooching sound.

A flicker of disgust and an 'ick' escaped Asuma's lips as he swiftly smacked Ugetsu's head, eliciting a groan of pain from the awakened boy. "Big brother! Don't stick that ugly hairy face of yours in my face!"

"Who are you calling ugly?!" Asuma's eyes narrowed, his gaze filled with mock offense, as he firmly grasped Ugetsu's ear. Ugetsu winced in pain, realizing the consequences of his teasing words.

"Okay, okay, I take it back! I take it back!" Ugetsu exclaimed, his voice laced with a mix of pain and amusement.

With Ugetsu's ear in his grip, Asuma guided him towards the door, a playful yet determined expression on his face. Hiruzen, standing at the doorway, couldn't help but chuckle at the banter between his youngest son and his adoptive son.

"Now, let's get going before Kakashi starts thinking he has a team of snoozers," Asuma declared, a hint of mirth in his voice as he ushered Ugetsu forward.

Ugetsu, still nursing his sore ear, followed begrudgingly, shooting occasional playful glances at Asuma. Despite the brief discomfort, there was a sense of camaraderie between them, an understanding that their lighthearted bickering was merely a reflection of their bond as siblings.

Hiruzen watched their departure with a mixture of fondness and amusement, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
